Bibi-Chan: This time of year, truly quality entertainment can be a little thin on the ground, especially with the weather we've had lately. Even the cat run is more often closed than open, and there is little to do but nap. And then #1 had a brilliant idea! She had a stock of walnuts from last year and they were just sitting there doing nothing. Surely, someone out there would be interested?
Oh yes!
Mama Tama was beside herself with excitement!
He was the cheekiest little fellow you've ever seen!
You probably can't see but he's actually smiling in this photo!
Then he went back up the tree to enjoy his snack in peace:
But that wasn't all! #1 didn't manage to catch the tiny little mouse that snuck out from under a roof tile to grab some suet ball leftovers. AND we got some birds we don't usually get at the feeder today, such as this long-tailed tit:
As you can imagine, we have simply been glued to the window...
... so much so that #1 even brought our breakfast snack upstairs!
Yes, that is chicken. So much to be thankful for!!!
Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day to all our friends!

Happy Valentine's Day, sweeties! Its a good thing you kitties are on the inside, or the outside critters wouldn't be enjoying those treats quite as much.

Salut Les Poupounettes! Still playing catch up here. You could've told them their little snack was squirrel. Then of course they'd have been left saying 'Squirrel you say? Hmmm. Tastes just like chicken'! :)
