Violette and Vidock Vendredi

Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! I am continuing to get better after my little infection, but I am still taking medications and so not going to school for the moment. That, however, does not stop me from having a good time. When the family came to visit last Sunday, the kids all spoiled me silly!

They were pretty small boys but they weren't scared at all by my size!

By the way, I wanted to introduce you to my little sister, Bichette:

She is one year old. She and my Mama, Hôtesse, are currently in the field where I spent last winter. #1 is keeping a close eye on them.

Vidock: Neighs, my friends! What can I tell you? It's MUDDY! It has been raining almost non-stop for days!

Actually, Big Tom and I went to a new field a few days ago and it's less muddy there. #1 took a really great shot of us but she is keeping it for Manly Monday, so here is a close-up of my muddy self:

Fernant: How about a touch of FERNANT FRIDAY? Yes? You would love that? Then here we go!

My handsome self out in the grass:

And all stressed out in #1's study:

  4. You guys have been busy, and really getting down to the earth!
We wish the rain would stop to, but we think on the whole we have had better weather here than you have had.
By the way, Friday in Finnish is perjantai so Percheronin perjantaina would be Percheron's Friday. Just letting you know......

  10. Fernant, our hearts go out to you, poor boy, so stressed:) Tommy is great company for you.

And oh that mud, good thing Violette and Vidock don't have to come inside #1's house. Can't have that pretty carpet getting all muddy:)

    Happy and hopefully sunny weekend.

  16. Are we getting the feeling that #1 might soon have a herd of Percherons that rivals the kitty population in size? We thought it was cute the boys were so small, one was about the size of Violette's head.

  17. Where does Urey fit in? We are all very interested in him and his recovery from what could have been a very traumatizing event. He's a very together boy.
Goodness! Fernant has grown into such a beautiful boy! So handsome! And to think what might have been if #1 and her associate had not done what they did. True heroes in every sense of the word.
