Here I am in the classring, ready to start:
You noticed the tarpaulin on the ground? We horses tend to be frightened of such things, and it is very important to learn not to be.
Ms. A taught me how to trot around, slow to a walk, and change directions, all by voice:
Just look at the audience I had!
Mr. E was there too and watching me closely:
Towards the end of the lesson, Ms. S got out this lasso-like thing and started twirling it around me and over my head. That kind of thing is pretty frightening to us horses at first. I was a bit anxious initially...
... but I quickly understood that there was no need to worry:
Ms. S told #1 that I was really intelligent, alert and a quick learner and that even though she knows me, she was surprised at how quickly I progressed!!!
Afterwards, I got TWO carrots!!!!!
Oh, and as I am in a very generous mood today, here is a flying ears photo of Tommy for this Friday!
This is SO cool, Vidock! #1 must be beaming with pride over you learning so quickly. We agree that that lasso-thingy looks scary and it looks suspiciously like a harness to us. We're impressed you didn't go flat-cat! We see many more carrots in your future! Please give a loving nosebump to #1 on our behalf.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend,

Now that you know there are carrots involved, you will enjoy your training more. Walking on those tarps is scary for little guys such as myself too.

Vidock...be sure to ask for THREE carrots next time. There's no harm in refusing to co-operate unless the stakes are raised. Teehee.
ReplyDeleteTommy you are going to fly away one of these windy days! :)
