Flying and Full Friday!

#1 here. Let me start by saying that I am not going away for long this time. I am leaving tomorrow (Saturday) morning and will be back here on Wednesday evening. I am driving up to Calais and then taking the tunnel across to England. I shall doubtless be returning with a car full of stuff for Tommy and the girls. And I am also happy to say that our Aussie friends who looked after the gang in July will be back here for a few days, so nobody will be feeling too bereft!

As it is Friday, let's start with Tommy. We do have a flying ears photo but first, this one I took yesterday morning and which I love:


and now for an outstanding FLYING EARS FRIDAY shot!


On Wednesday, we posted a photo of the gang helping me with work. Here they are in their "time off" mode:


We of course need some close ups of the girls:



Someone was asking the other day if Tama-Chan still got to cuddle with Tommy as it looked like Sei-Chan was monopolising him. Fear not, she gets her share too!



But Sei-Chan does indeed spend a great deal of time with Tommy. They cuddle a lot but they also like to just hang together.


Can you think of a better pillow?


I will probably be able to sneak online whilst I am away, and do some remote commenting, but we will not be posting again until next Thursday, if all goes well.

    What a wonderful post. We will miss you guys so badly. We wonder how these Aussie friends always seem to be around when #1 goes away - after all we understand that Australia is quite far away from France...

    Have a great vacation! I LOVE the flying ears picture. Our dog has the floppy ears and they fly too. I always say my dog has the best, sweetest face, but not so pretty body!!
    Nice pictures. Did they start cuddling on there own, or did you prompt them and they got used to it?

    So wonderful... all the flying ears, the snuggling. I'm glad that Tama-chan gets her Tommy cuddle time too!

    P.S.: Now to something completely different: Does #1 know the Comedy 'Little Britain'? Mom just found out that one of the comedians swam the Channel in 2006. He actually crossed it by swimming! Wow! She's impressed.

    We're glad that you have such nice people to take care of you when #1 has to go away. Although how she can bear to leave such wonderful furbabies, we're not sure.

    #1 I hope you are having a wonderful time...buy lots of goodies for the girls and Tommy!! We love getting gifts when mom has been away!!

    I wish I had ears like Tommy-mine don't fly like that!!!

    I think it's ok if you go away for a short while if it means coming back with a car stuffed full of toys, food and treats.

    You all are so cute, and Tommy what great shots of you. Snuggling again. Do you think my mom keeps bringing home cats to see if anyone will start snuggling at my house? Maybe I better start snuggling so she will stop!
