Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Yesterday was a holiday here (and we thought you might be interested to know that the French do not ever call it "Bastille Day." It's just July 14th!) and this morning, #1 is starting her new part-time job (only two half-days a week so no need to panic yet), so we are feeling just a bit discombobulated.

Still… the weather was fine yesterday for the first time in a long time and we all enjoyed being out in the run:

By the way, did we ever mention that we have a really beautiful rosebush inside our cat run? It's an old type rose called "Pierre de Ronsard." Here is what the flowers look like:

In other news, we are great believers in togetherness here, so when #1 chooses to have her supper on a tray in front of the TV, we do like to keep her company:

Genji was trying to shove Fernant out of the way. Tommy was on his sofa. He never, ever begs for food. Can you believe that? Sei-Chan is trying to look all casual but I had my eyes firmly set on the ham…

I hope #1 doesn't dawdle on her way home...

  1. So nice to be out after rain :)
We hope you got a bit of that ham!
Mom thinks that rose is pretty.

  2. When the humans have dinner at the dining room table (it only happens occasionally), the scene that ensues looks a lot like photo #5!

  3. we hope #1 enjoys her part time job. and we hope that you all got some ham :)

  4. We had a cat that begged for food! BOL - that brings back memories.

  5. The part time sounds like a good gig. We hope she enjoys it. We are also looking forward to seeing her photos of the Pancherons that she is showing at the gallery. She sounds pretty busy. It's avoid thing you guys take care of her very well.

  6. Oh boy looks like you guts are waiting to be served

  7. We love that dinner time gathering and we hope y'all are able to get combobulated soon!

  8. That's great! Everyone calls it Bastille Day but the French! You know, a family eats together!

  9. I hope everyone was polite and did not snatch any food off #1's plate without being given permission!

  11. We are all caught up! Our Mama has been preparing for yet another trip and visiting has fallen by the wayside.Ack! We were sorry to hear about Leo. He lived the good life, had a canine friend, was deeply loved. He was a lucky dog.Our sincere condolences to #1's friend.

Kitties! Leave the ham alone! :)

  12. Tama, you certainly did an excellent job keeping an eye on the ham. We hope you got a taste of it,...and we hope #1 got a taste of it too.

  13. MOL! We hope #1 shared some of her dinner with all of you. :)

  14. Good luck to #1 on her job!
Ya'll are certainly more well-behaved than us. We would have swiped that ham when Mommy was taking the photo....MOL!

  15. Hope your #1 enjoys her new job. She sounds quite busy but we know she'll always have time for you. Tommy is a wonderful boy in every way. Beauty, brains and behaviour - we love him so!
