Sei-Chan: I have to tell you, Dear Friends, I never thought it would be quite so hard to get a couple of even half-way decent shots for one entire week! It has been raining and raining and then raining some more. Awful! So this is all I've got for you:

I was not too happy with her leaving as she really isn't quite right yet. But she said that there is a saying about a change being as good as a rest, and she was hoping that the change of scene would make her feel better.

In the meantime, I am enjoying my time with Mr.G!

Feline Friday

Genji: #1 left this morning. She normally drives up to Calais and then goes through the tunnel but this time, she is taking the ferry from Caen to Portsmouth as a foot passenger, and her friends will come to get her. So, we are hoping for a smooth sailing for her. The Channel can be awfully choppy!

The weather has remained really nasty over here, and photo-taking has been a rare event. We did have a fleeting sunpuddle yesterday. Here is another picture of me with my new bowtie:

#1 will doubtless be taking lots of pics of the Big V although the weather forecast is apparently not great for the weekend...

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: #1 is beginning to feel a little better and there has been a whirlwind of activity here. She finally got all the Christmas stuff put away, and then an unexpected job came in that she has to get done before she leaves tomorrow morning! Given all that, I was really thankful that it was sunny and that she found the time to take me out to play ball in my field!

 

 

It felt so good! 

Wearing-it-Well on Wedesday!

Da Boys: #1 has been doing things at the speed of a slug lately. Yesterday, she finally removed our Christmas collars and put on the nice collars (except for Miss Sei who has not yet allowed the change) we have received from the Amigos in Singapore. She says we boys look very handsome in our bow tie collars and so we thought we would share photos with you:

By the way, Tama-Chan got the following email last night from Dr. J:

 

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Tommy mentioned yesterday that I would tell you today how we helped in a concrete way to make our #1 feel better, that is, aside from all the purring and snuggling. Here is the story.

On Sunday afternoon, #1 was in bed, with nurse Sei on duty. She was resting, almost dozing off, when the phone rang. She got up and answered the phone. It was our friend and her doctor, Dr. J. She had made an appointment to go and see him on Tuesday morning and had been thinking she might want to bring it forward to Monday, but she was certainly not expecting to hear from him on Sunday. He said to her "I heard from Tama-Chan that you were not feeling that great, so I thought I had better call and check up on you." #1 was a little foggy and befuddled until she realised that Dr. J had read the SoS blog post! That is how Tama-Chan had gotten her message through to him! He told #1 that he was home and if she felt up to it, she could come over for a consultation and a prescription right away. He is only about 10 minutes away, so that is what #1 did. He confirmed that there was an adult strain of bronchiolitis doing the rounds at the moment, that it was a rather persistent bug, but that there wasn't anything much to do other than rest. However, since she is scheduled to go to England on Friday, he have her a "what if" prescription so she can take some stronger meds with her in case her state deteriorates whilst she is away. Wasn't that really nice of him?

#1 says thank you for all the nice thoughts and words. She says she is beginning to feel better but will continue to take it real easy this week. Needless to say, we are all highly chuffed at the role we played in making her feel better! Hurrah for blogging!

Monday With Merlin

Tommy here. Well, #1 is still coughing and such, so our activities have been pretty much curtailed. Tomorrow, we will tell you about a fun way that we have managed to make a difference in making her feel better, so please come back then! In the meantime, I just have a few very manly photo of me with our neighbour big kitten, Merlin. He's not quite a year old yet. He is very sweet. He comes running over when he sees us but then bolts at the slightest unexpected sound!

Snuggles on Sunday - The Healing Edition

Tama-Chan: We would like to apologise for the lack of commenting these past couple of days. #1 caught a cold which has morphed into bronchitis and she has been coughing and coughing, and feeling rather under the weather. We of course have all been taking good care of her.

Violette sends a neigh. We are crossing paws and hooves that #1 feels better soon as she is supposed to go to England next weekend to see our bro, The Big V, and she needs to feel better by then.
