Genji: #1 left this morning. She normally drives up to Calais and then goes through the tunnel but this time, she is taking the ferry from Caen to Portsmouth as a foot passenger, and her friends will come to get her. So, we are hoping for a smooth sailing for her. The Channel can be awfully choppy!
The weather has remained really nasty over here, and photo-taking has been a rare event. We did have a fleeting sunpuddle yesterday. Here is another picture of me with my new bowtie:
#1 says my furs shine beautifully in the sunshine!
For some reason, Da Beebs wants you to admire his tongue...
#1 did get a cute one of Queen Tama:
That was before she took down the Christmas tree and other stuff. Sorry!
Sei-Chan refused to contribute any pics to this post because she says she only has two and she is keeping them for SEIturday!
#1 will doubtless be taking lots of pics of the Big V although the weather forecast is apparently not great for the weekend...
We purr that #1 has a good time visiting with Vidock.Maybe the weather will not be too bad.
ReplyDeleteWe also look forward to more sunshine over the weekend. Sun makes for better picture taking :)

we wish your #1 a good trip... the channel can be sneaky in winter ;o) do you know if the ferry company of caen acceopts foot passengers with dogs or is it the same like calais, that you only can bring a dog into a car?
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather cooperates at least enough for #1 to get some good Vidock photos! I can see how dark it has been at home, just by the size of Tama's irises - I know mine don't get that large except in very low light.
ReplyDeleteI hope #1 has a calm sailing across the channel. At least the worst of the storm seems to have passed through. I am sure she must be excited to see Vidock again, and I look forward to seeing the photos.
ReplyDeleteHope she has a good visit with Vidock. Wishing her a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteNice seeing you gang! We hope #1 has a safe journey!
ReplyDeleteYou kitties are all looking great today. We can't wait to get an update on the Big V from #1.
ReplyDeleteEek, there's nothing worse than choppy water crossings! Makes me urp...but hopefully #1 will not have the same problem! You are all so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope it's gonna be a smooth sailing for #1! Great photos of you all :-) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteSafe and smooth sailing for #1 and a great visit with the Big V.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You do absolutely glow, Genji!
ReplyDeleteWe’re hoping #1 continues to recover from her illness. Fingers crossed for calm seas. It would be just awful for her to have a choppy crossing on top of things. Seeing beloved Vidock again will be such a treat for her.
We wish #1 a safe trip. Purrs
ReplyDeleteGood seeing you guys! We are hoping that #1 has a safe journey and comes home to you speedily!
