Momo-Chan: Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? We've been enjoying our Christmas tree here and #1 says we've been really good about it. However.... Queen Tama hinted at it in yesterday's SoS post, but a certain little dragon has not been good at all... You see, he managed to get out Saturday afternoon, probably from the cat run (#1 will be hunting for the exact location today), and he stayed out all night, only returning first thing on Sunday morning because he was very hungry. Fortunately, it's not that cold out at the moment, plus we have boxes at the back of the garage that are filled with hay, so he did have a safe and dry place to rest, even though it was raining. #1 says there are definite echoes of "Houbibi", our Beebs who was an exceptional escape artist. Ryū is now grounded for life and none of us got to go out to the cat run yesterday.
As you can see, the little dragon was not looking particularly contrite:
Benny was a very good cat, on the other hand, and did everything he could to comfort #1 through the long and restless night. He now has several gold stars to his name!
As for me, well I really missed my little bro when he was gone!
Ollie is looking forward to dryer weather later this week, so he can run in the fields again!
#1 wasn't able to visit the horses last week, so we have no fresh pics of The Big V, but she's going over there today, so there will be more soon!

Ryū! You mustn't do that and worry everyone. I am sure all were worried about you, but they comforted #1.
ReplyDeleteOh Noes, no escape artists allowed purr-please. Santa has a rule that all must be present for his impending arrival ... okay, okay ...
ReplyDeleteI bet you're glad to be back inside and safe, Ryu. It's not a good thing to worry #1 like that! I hope you get to run in the fields again soon, Ollie!
ReplyDeleteRyu, we love you very much, but you need to be more careful. Adventures are good, but you are a very little cat. Im proud of Benny & Momo for not following him out and being a comfort for #1. Linda
ReplyDeleteI'm at least glad for a good news at the end!
