Benny: Well, let's be blunt. #1 is abandoning us today and she won't be back until Monday afternoon. She will be stewarding at the French national dressage and para-dressage championships. We hate it when she goes away. On the other paw, Mr. G will be looking after us and we all love him to bits. So we are thankful for him, even though we're a tad thankless at #1's absence. Does that make sense to you?

It makes perfect sense, Benny. Just enjoy Mr. G's company and you will have #1's return to look forward to. I hope she has an enjoyable time.
ReplyDeletewow we wish your number 1 a super time at the horse event

Benny, you make perfect sense. Hoping your #1 has a safe and well-paid time with the horses. Linda
ReplyDeleteI hope #1 has a good time while she is away. You all will do just fine with Mr. G in charge.
ReplyDeleteBenny, we understand.
ReplyDeleteYou do look a little miffed Benny, but she will be home before you know it.
ReplyDeleteWell, Monday is only a few sleeps away...and Mr G will make those days fly by!
ReplyDeleteMany emotional states are mixed. It's normal to be happy about certain things while sad about others.
ReplyDeleteI hope all stays well during #1's absence.
Charlee: "#1 certainly keeps herself busy! But it's great that you have Mr. G to take care of you, someone you all know and love and trust!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Yeah, I don't know who that would be for us while Mama and Dada were gone."
Charlee: "It would be Dada."
Chaplin: "But Dada would be gone."
Charlee: "NO HE WOULDN'T."
