Super Saturday

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends! #1 is back with us. She returned on Thursday evening, having driven a little over 2700 kilometres (almost 1700 miles) over 15 days. She told us she had a great time and met lots of wonderful critters along the way. Now, she is trying to settle back into "real life". It's pretty hot again, so we are all trying to tay cool. Here are a few pics she has taken since her return, starting with me, of course:

Benny found a crate he really liked!

Ryū is very busy, as usual. Here is a pic Mr. G took whilst #1 was away:

We hope to return to regular blogging next week. Monday is our national holiday (nobody in France has ever called it "Bastille Day"!).

  3. It sounds as if #1 had a great time even though she did an awful lot of driving. And driving can be so stressful. I bet all of you are thrilled to have her home.

  7. I am glad #1 had a great time visiting friends all over the UK. Maybe she needs another holiday to get some rest from all the travelling. I can imagine the wonderful welcome you all gave her.

    1. I forgot to say. When I was at school many years ago, our French teacher told us to never wish anyone happy Bastille Day, but to wish them Happy National Day. My French is very rusty now but I think it is Fete Nationale?
