Dear Friends, today marks 17 years since our very first blog post, which you will find here: https://thepoupounette.blogspot.com/2008/06/, along with three other June 2008 posts. During that time, we have written a total of 5,769 posts and received a whopping 89,500 comments! We have met so many wonderful people all over the world, and a few in person. We have shared so many joys and so many tears with so many. Quite a few have stopped blogging altogether. Some still have a presence on Facebook. We remember everyone.
We started out with Tommy and Sen-Chan. They are both long gone now, as are Yuu-Chan, Sei-Chan, Da Beebs, Genji, Trav and Hotesse. The one constant from must a few months after the start of the blog is our Queen, Tama-Chan, and we are so blessed to still have her with us.
As Queen Tama is still with us, we thought we would share a couple of photos from her first few days at Poupounette Central, when she was still a small kitten, getting to know Sen-Chan and Tommy:
We would like to thank all of you ho have loved, laughed and cried with us over the year. We cannot tell you what every single comment has meant to us. Although we have a presence on Facebook too, we plan to continue blogging as long as we have stories to tell.

Happy Blogoversary! I am not sure when I discovered your blog, but I know you had been blogging for a few years. I went to leave a comment on your first post but see I did that in 2021. I know we met you at the New Forest show for the first time, so it was at least a couple of years before 2018, probably considerably more.

You have reminded me it is our Blogoversary next month and we will be on a cruise, so must remember to add it when I schedule the posts.
