Genji: I am thankful because I had a lucky escape yesterday. We got up earlier than usual and as #1 was having breakfast (after feeding us, of course), she told ne that I was going in for my booster shots and annual check-up. I told her I didn't need any boosting as I was perfect already, but she didn't listen... And then, the phone rang! It was the vet clinic telling us that an emergency had come in and needed surgery and that Dr. C would only have very little time, and could we postpone! I said "just cancel it!" but she didn't listen, so my thankfulness will only last a week.
Here I am, laughing with pleasure at the news!
And I am working on some camo strategies for next week. With a bit of luck, she will miss me altogether.
ha! sometimes it happens... but wwe hope next week your vet has good news for you...
ReplyDeleteOh, you can avoid those vet visits for a while, but they always wind up happening!
ReplyDeleteLucky for today, but not forever ;)
ReplyDeleteThose Vet appointments never go away!!!

Genji, good luck with evading next week's appointment; something tells me that #1 is stubborn about your health...and she's bigger than you...
ReplyDeleteAnnual exams are no fun, especially if they poke you with a needle, but are also necessary to keep you healthy. Enjoy your one week reprieve.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I think she'll track you down and pack you up!
ReplyDeleteWell, a reprieve is fun, but...just go and be done with it, then all will be well, and you can go about being yourself and pretending to be a big tiger again.
ReplyDeleteLucky at least for a week, but you know it is best for you to get checked out. Good luck with that camo.

You are lucky to get a week reprieve, but it will still happen!
ReplyDeleteGreat tabby camo !
ReplyDeleteGenji, you lucked out! At least for a week. :)
ReplyDeleteHumans never listen, don’t they? :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your look in tabby stripes. Maybe that camo strategy will work!
Lucky you today ! Purrs
