Ollie: We are up a bit late in posting today because #1 slept in. We had big thunderstorms last night, with lots of boomies and lightning, and the temperature has dropped a lot. She said it felt good to stay in bed a little longer.
Let me start with this photo of Genji, taken this morning:
That is a sight we are always thankful for!
And here is one of me yesterday evening. I am thankful to have a nice sofa I can relax on of an evening.
Queen Tama is thankful that she gets to sit next to #1 when she hangs out on the sofa:
And #1 is thankful that her good friend, Ms.V, who was once upon a time hairdresser to rock legends, gave her a haircut. #1 does have very curly hair!
And we are thankful for the beauty of our first Passion Flower to bloom!
oh how great that your #1 could stay at home for her haircut!!! and we love the passion flowers too! it was like christmas for the phenny last night, he loves the thunder... the mama waited in the door with him, so he missed no boom! nor bang!
ReplyDeleteThose are all wonderful things to be thankful for!Good food and comfy napping spots.
ReplyDeleteThat passion flower is amazing!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Sometimes, small wonderful things can change our whole day! The breeze blowing in the window, a whisker kiss, watching our loved ones nap...pure joy.
ReplyDeleteAll such good things to be thankful for today and everyday.Have a fine day.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see Gen-Chan eating! Good for #1 to get a haircut. I need one, too. The passion flower is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day xo
The passion flower is gorgeous ! #1 is wise (and lucky) to have stayed longer in bed after such a night ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteSo much to be thankful for - especially seeing Genji eating!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you weren't in OP last night? We had bad storms too. Mom has those same curls and she was very happy when she finally got them trimmed.
ReplyDeleteWoos, Lightning and Timber
That is good to see Genji eating.
ReplyDeleteOur hairdressers can't start up again until July. I am starting to have more than a passing resemblance to an Old English Sheepdog!
Way to go Genji! How cool to get a star hair cut and wow, that Passion Flower sure is pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe’re thankful Genji is eating too! Could #1’s friend come give the mom a haircut? Our salons are still closed here.
ReplyDeleteHooray for good eating, Genji!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same state as the island cats, and petcretary says she looks like Medusa by now...
A lady she knows said she had recruited her hairdresser to cut her hair in some back alley for extra pay...she was that desperate to get herself tidied up, MOL! *She* almost asked to tag along for a similar treatment...tee-hee.
You all sure have lots of things to be thankful for.
