Da Beebs: First of all, thanks, everyone for the good thoughts regarding my vet visit yesterday.
So there I was, sitting on the sofa, wearing my Puppia harness and ready to go...
Bu there was a little problem. My Mama Tama was sitting in the carrier, wearing a long-suffering look. She saw the carrier and concluded that she was being carted off to the vet yet again!
So #1 got the other carrier out and off we went. Dr. C examined me closely and she said that my lungs sounded just fine. She pinched my trachea to make me cough and concluded that I sounded like I had some hairball issues. #1 had been giving me hairball stuff but apparently not nearly enough, so we cam home with instructions for a cat malt fest. But first, I had to eat. I was really hungry, so I tucked into a huge meal under the watchful eye of my Mama Tama:
Of course, she took the opportunity to have a little snack too!
And then I hit the radiator beddie and celebrated with a three-leg dangle!
It's really cold today so I think this is where I'll stay!
I'm glad a hairball is your only problem, Bibi!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy it was a hairball and not anything more :)
Now you can enjoy that radiator.
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
It is very, very cold here today and we would love to be warm on a wonderful radiator like yours.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a great warm spot to hang out. So glad your vet visit went well. Hopefully that hairball goes away soon.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad it's just a hairball and nothing else more serious ! We hope the warmth of the radiator under your tummy helps you to... hem .. get rid of that hairball quickly ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe hope that pesky hairball comes up soon. Love that radiator tri-dangle!
ReplyDeleteYippee. We are happy to hear those lungs are in working conditions

Glad to hear that your lungs are clear! We agree that radiators are great places to hang out in the winter - when we lived in Germany, we spent a lot of time on them when it was cold out!
ReplyDeletestay warm Beebs - hope you are back to 100% soon
ReplyDeleteA three-legged dangle is amazing, but what did you do with the fourth leg? BOL
ReplyDeleteHope that malt fest helped clear out that hairball:)

Hopefully that nasty hairball will be gone soon. We are relieved beyond words it is not your heart. Big hugs for our dear boy.
ReplyDeleteI am glad it is a hairball that is making you cough. I hope it soon shifts

ReplyDeleteWell that was good news Bib! Esme, on the other hand, went to the vet's this morning and she has a lung infection. She was given an antibiotic shot and now must also take antibiotics twice a day for a week.Hopefully that will do the trick for her!
the critters in the cottage xo
P.S. Be certain to cough up a nice big hairball soon Bibi but not anywhere that would be icky for your #1 to find! ;p
I bet Tama was happy she didn't have to go see Dr. C.
