This blog was started in June 2008 by a young sorrel Abyssinian cat called Sen-Chan and a slightly younger English Springer Spaniel called Tommy. The years that followed were full of hellos and goodbyes. Some, like Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan, were lost very young. Other Abys like Sei-Chan, Bibi, and Genji stayed with us for quite a few years. But they too have gone now, as has Tommy. In the interim, several Percheron horses joined the family, starting with Vidock in 2010, Violette in 2012, and then Hotesse and Heloise in 2020. They contribute to the blog regularly. But the mainstays are Ollie, also an English Springer Spaniel, Tama, an Abyssinian queen who has been with us since late 2008, and Benkei (Benny), a little ruffian who joined us in 2021, followed by Momo in 2022, and another Aby boy, Ryū, in 2023.. We live in rural France, in a region called the Perche, which is famous for its heavy horses.
Tama-Chan: #1's and Vidock's big day was a huge success and she has any tales to tell. But right now, she is exhausted. I tried the combo of cute and laser eyes to get something out of her, but it was no use...
Cute and laser eyes did not work? You may have to hop on her bed and sleep on her head. She will give you cuddles then ;) Purrs Georgia and Julie, Treasure and JJ
Bonjour Tama, Moi aussi j'aime me mettre dans cette position. Normalement ça fait craquer les humains. Elle devrait vraiment être super fatiguée ta #1. Ronrons Loustiquette

Good to hear yesterday was a success!
I'm sure we'll hear about all the great news once #1 has had a chance to catch her breath!
ReplyDeleteTama - maybe if you let #1 rub your tummy you'll get extra treats.

ReplyDeleteOh my, #1 must have been really, really exhausted if that tummy and laser eyes didin't work as you wished. I hope she recovers soon :-)

You sure look cute! We can't wait to hear about the big day!
ReplyDeleteGive your mum a few days to rest up. Then she will be back at the usual routine with all of you.
ReplyDeleteOur mom says she wants to give you a tummy rub. Do you like tummy rubs?
