Thankful(ish) Thursday

Da Beebs: well, let's face it… We can't be totally thankful two days before #1 leaves us for two weeks, can we? Still, we have continued to get lovely sunshine and there is plenty to be thankful for, so why not be positive?

#1 has been working on our winter entertainment by gathering hazelnuts so our squirrels will have lots of reasons to come to the window ledge in the study. Here is the hazelnut stash so far this year:

My sis Sei-Chan and I were thankful the other evening for the pieces of ham we got when we hung out with #1 as she ate whilst watching TV:

My Mama Tama is thankful for the ongoing open window in the kitchen:

Da Genj is thankful for the sunshine that shows off his shiny furs to the max:

And Tommy is crossing his paws that #1 will come back as quickly as possible from her travels…

Last but not least, we are thankful because we received yesterday Volume 6 of our Blog Books. We are something like three years behind in ordering these, but #1 finally got around to ordering the volume for the first half of 2011. It looks great!

  2. I'm so lucky - my human is going out of town for four days... and I'm going with her! Actually, I am the reason she is going out of town!

Of course she still has to buy me gifts anyhow. ;-)

  10. Being thankful is always good for the soul - so you all must be doing quite well in that area. AND some squirrels will be very thankful when winter arrives:)

Ne vous en faites pas les chats et Tommy, profitez bien du soleil, des siestes. Tout va bien se passer et votre #1 reviendra bientôt avec tout plein de cadeaux.
