Woofie Wednesday

Tomaso: The days are getting shorter (and we haven't shifted to winter time yet!) and it is getting cooler. When we go out, #1 tends to walk slowly up the lane as she has been gathering hazelnuts for our little squirrels to eat over the winter. The harvest this year is really good. Here is the stash so far:

I have been loving my long walks in the field (although #1 is not quite that happy about the number of burrs she has to comb out of my fur at the end of each day!):

Here I am, looking pensive on one of our mornings walks:

This time of year, it's often misty in the morning:

But by late afternoon, it's all golden!

  2. Our weather is much the same,
with warm days and cool nights
    and fog over the lake.
We do not go romping to get any burrs in our fur though ;)

  8. My dad picks up the hazelnuts too, but he eats them himself.

  9. I just read a story about how the price of hazelnuts has gone through the roof due to a crop failure. Maybe you could sell all those hazelnuts for a fortune :)

    Lovely golden photos!

  11. Brume ou soleil, chaleur ou fraicheur .. toi tu t'en moques Tommy. L'important c'est d'être dehors en bonne compagnie et de jouer, de courir.
    Profites en bien.
