Sei-Chan: So, here I am at the desk, looking through photos and typing my SEIturday post!
Of course, I need the help of my trusted assistant some of the time...
It has been quite a lovely few days here with lots of sunshine and blue skies and warm temperatures too! I have been spending time meditating:
And, of course, making sure that #1 enjoys my pink pawpaws...
Now, I urge you to take a good look at this photo:
You see the little critter on the wooden plaque above my head, right? Well... the night before last, somebody caught a mouse and left it for #1 in front of her bedroom door. When she woke up, none of us where around, which is unusual. When she came downstairs, she found us all sitting around one of the armchairs. You know what that means, right? We were on watch all day and finally caught the critter in the evening. But in the midst of the madness, someone flung it in the air and it landed on the low table right in front of #1. She had a napkin at hand, and immediately grabbed hold of the mouse, and the rest is history. Little mouse was released in the garden, and lives to fight another day!
But...but... you guys were gonna nom that mouse!!
ReplyDeleteYou are bootiful to the tips of your pretty pink toesies, my dear!
Gandalf has brought me many a bird and the occasional evil squirrel. Luckily, at least so far, no mousies.
ReplyDeleteHope your SEIturday is lovely!
Happy SEIturday!
ReplyDeleteButterskhotch or BroFUR left one fur Mom a week or so ago - right next to the water bowl - guess it was her tip!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy! Guess who is here fur a few days: KHOUSIN MERDIE!!!
We haven't presented Mum with any trophies yet but the two that came before kept her very busy - she got very quick lunging, grabbing and then releasing their prey - or so she says!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Äiti's in a gooey pool on the floor, squeeing about those toesies and the finger -paw photo. We are in the meantime totally in disbelief over your outrageously bad luck regarding the monster mouse. Whoever flung it in the air with such poor precision really needs dealing with!
ReplyDeletewe heard kittys like bringing gifts to their #1's, BOL
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
We were just going to shout "Death to mousies!" , only to be told by san that the mousie is still alive and kicking in the garden! We are truly in disbelief that #1 would take the mousie away from you after you guys had done so much to get it!
ReplyDeletethe amigos
Lovely Sei-chan! We are so envious of your hunting skills! We, alas, are never afforded the opportunity and our Mom thanks we are not tough enough nor savvy enough to hunt mousie properly...
ReplyDeleteWe're still laughing! That's one way of making sure #1 enjoys a tasty meal! We would have loved to been there to watch the fun!
ReplyDeleteSei, you even has that adorable little expression when you sleep! And those feeties, talk about adorable....
Wow, you kitties had lots of excitement! Too bad #1 did not want to eat your catch - I am sure if she had kept it instead of releasing it, she would have found it quite tasty!
ReplyDeleteWhat good hunters you are!
ReplyDeleteSei-chan,that shot of you meditating is beautiful:) Lovely pink jelly beans - bubble gum flavored?
ReplyDeleteThe Momster would totally freak out if we left her a mouse - totally.
Have a good weekend.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Oh you are all such awesome hunters. I managed to catch 2 while it was Winter here and mom said she hopes NO more ever. I brought one to bed you may remember.
ReplyDeleteThose pink paw pads turn mom into mush.
Hi Sei-Chan, looking cute! I love your pink pawpaws :-)
ReplyDeleteWell maybe you will meet that mousie again...some day!!
Good mousie hunting!
ReplyDeleteTypical humans to spoil all your fun :(
ReplyDeleteHope you manege to catch and eat the mousie another day :)
