Another Farewell

The spate of departures for the Bridge among our friends continues unabated, and today, we had to bid farewell to our dear friend MADRAC who lived next door but came visiting each and every day, in search of extra treats and cuddles.

Madrac quickly became Sen-Chan's friend when he came to live with us:

As for Tom, she was his nanny, auntie, playmate and role model:

She was a rescue dog, so her exact age was unknown, although it was estimated at 12 or 13. She was beaten as a puppy but was rescued and loved the rest of her life. She suddenly fell very ill on Thursday and had to be helped to the Bridge this morning. There, she is doubtless reunited with the cat, Nounouche. Goodbye, dear friend.

  10. We are so sad to hear this notice. Please let your neighbour know that we are purring for her and for sweet Madrac. Such sad times lately. At least Madrac didn't suffer for long. Her human helped her in the only way that was left for her to help...
