Tom: Wednesday is normally a day of few, if any, words in our blogging world, but we have stuff to tell you, so here goes.
Firstly, a big, big thanks to our good friends at The Paw Relations who quickly elucidated the identity of our little bug yesterday. It is an an Adscita Statices which is a day-flying moth, and is commonly known as The Forester (Turquoise in French). It is apparently not seen that often, so we feel very lucky!
Yesterday, it poured all day so, aside from me, there was not much in the way of outdoor activity. But the sun is just now coming out and we have been promised gorgeous weather over the next few days. In the meantime, here is a shot of me enjoying my wet run this morning:
I had a rapt audience today:
The girls have been pretty laid back in this tail end to their isolation from us:
... entertaining themselves with the occasional game of pat-a-cake...
For some reason, girls make me think of kits. Remember the two who were here with their Mama, Viña, a little while ago? We visited them the other day. They are doing really well!
As for our own two boys, they are very good at pretending to be little saints...
... but good luck to anyone who happens to be in their path when they're playing THoE or chasing a bug!
Lastly, we wanted to tell you that we will not be blogging tomorrow, and probably not visiting either, as #1 is off to Paris for the day. She is going to catch an exhibition at the Musée Marmottan, have a relaxing lunch with a friend, and then pick up supplies at the Japanese and Lebanese grocery stores - exotic stuff we can't get here in the country. I will be partly here with the kitties and partly at the neighbours', and the Chans will all be enjoying the run as it's going to be warm and sunny!
See you on Friday!
