Whirlwind Wednesday

Things have been rather crazy around here since #1 got back. Our Aussie friends were here until morning which was great because I love, love, LOVE them! In fact, here I am having a snuggle with Mr.S:

The house has been a pretty lively place all around. Last night, we had friends over for dinner, and there was a very nice young lady, Ms.C, who was handing out a lot of cuddles.

Some for Tommy:

Bibi-Chan got an endless tummy rub!

In the midst of all this, the people seemed rather upset about something, and #1 was muttering something about how lucky we were with our litterboxes. Strange, don't you think? And then, first thing this morning, this showed up!

As Ms. S and Tommy supervised, all kinds of pipes came out and went into a hole in the ground, followed by lots of loud gurgles. #1 says there is no need to go into too many details about the workings of the septic truck... Suffice to say that all is now well and nobody is eyeing out litterboxes anymore. Phew!

I don't think the three boys had felt particularly stressed anyway...

Oh, and before I forget! Amidst all this excitement, we also heard yesterday that the insurance company of the woman who hit #1's car is going to pay for all the repairs. Hurray!

  1. That is great news about the car. Yuh, we had the septic crisis here a year or so ago. Stinkie!

  2. We are really happy to hear that the insurance is coming to the party! That is fantastic news! :) We're also glad to hear that you had fun with your Aussies. We hear Australians are pretty awesome :P

  3. Oh, that's so wonderful about the car. And you don't have to tell us about septic and plumbing problems. They have everyone envying me and the cats pretty often, including today.

    wags, Lola

  4. Hey there!
Sorry I've not been around for so long. I'm glad to see all the animals are well. You seem to have had a good trip...judging from all the shopping (I know the animals aren't complaining! :))
Your visitor last night looks like she's really good with can spot them a mile of ("animal lovers" that is)
    Sending lotsaluv to you all.

  5. I am gad they never had to resort to using your litterboxes! That is quite a strange looking machine.

#1 better go around and count the kitties, in case the Aussie friends took one or two with them!

    Excellent news about the car.

  6. Thank goodness you didn't have to share your litter boxes!!

I remember when I was living in Japan and my toilet would get backed up... Ah the joys of septic tanks. Hehehe... Thank goodness things are flowing smoothly there now for you!

  10. You guys must be so exhausted from all your company. But there is nothing better than all that attention. Yea, for the insurance company

Tom, you are looking very happy and handsome. whenever we see a handsome springer at the dog park, we are reminded of you. of course, you are the Most Handsome of All.
