Family Friday - Part Deux

Tommy: I am of course very glad that #1 is back from her travels but I have to tell you that I had the best time with my sister Sophie and niece Emily! Sophie and I have been close ever since we were tiny puppies and we still really enjoy playing together. So, I thought I would share a few more photos of us together!

Thankful Thursday!

Da Beebs: #1 is back! OK, we were hardly left unattended and I would like to just mention that I am Ms. A's favourite Chan but... we still love having #1 back more than anything else!

Her journey home was not quite as smooth as we would have liked. When she went to the car in the morning, it played completely.... dead... Fortunately, she had moved early and she immediately called the AA who were relatively quick to turn up. This time, there is no one or nothing #1 can blame other than herself. Yes, Dear Friends, it was all her fault! You see, she had left the ice box plugged into the 12V outlet in the car and it ran the battery down completely! Anyway, the AA guy got it going and she was able to catch a train only an hour later than initially planned, and was home before 5pm.

And yes, she did us proud, as usual. I examined the stash as she placed it on the table:

I don't know if you can see but there are LOTS of Chan treats, plus Tommy treats and food for everyone, plus British carrots and apples for the Vs! Good job #1!

And many, many thanks to Ms. A, Sophie and Emily for staying with us and looking after us so well!

Wednesday Whinnies Whilst Waiting

#1 here. I am heading home today (yes, with a full car!) and hoping that all will go well with border controls etc. Should be home by 4pm. In the meantime, here are some different whinnies for you this Wednesday. On Sunday, I had the privilege of watching the one and only Robert Sampson at Harbridge Farm in Hampshire, disking a freshly ploughed field with eight Percherons (including one stallion, one gelding and six mares). It's an exceptionally rare sight in our modern world.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: We are expecting #1 home tomorrow afternoon and crossing paws thats he gets back smoothly and safey. She is coming through the Channel Tunnel. In the meantime, we are being spoiled by Ms. A and are all very content!

I have been enjoying the new Zabuton:

Looking cute on the Boogie Mat:

And of course crossing my paws for #1's return!

Manly Monday

Tommy: Woofs, Everyone! We have been sending #1 news, letting her know that we are well and having a blast. She is now in Hampshire, with her Percheron friends so you will probably see some horsey pics soon. In the interim, here are this week's Manly Monday offerings, in no particular order:

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: At a time when our world in France has once again been plugged into darkness and sadness, we think it is more important than ever to snuggle up close. #1 got a full house of snuggle pics before leaving us on Friday, so please sit back and enjoy:

Not a snuggle pic but we thought this one of Tommy and Sophie and Emily dining together was very sweet. The difference in size is pretty hilarious!

And last but not least, a #1 and Da Beebs selfie!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: I hope somebody is going to be reading my post this week.. Last week, I got very few comments and was terribly sad. #1 had to give me lots of extra cuddles. This week she is not here... We heard from her and she is safely at her cousin's in Surrey. We are being spoiled by Ms. A. To give you an idea, when #1 prepared Ms. A's room, she also washed my little pink blankie. She initially put it back on the bed there (it was a comfy bed to start with but now it has a feather bed on it and it's just heavenly!). When Ms. A arrived, #1 was going to take it away, but Ms. A said to leave it there and I was welcome anytime!

I am very SEItisfied!

Now let's see how well she does on the "bringing gifts" front...

Wishing you all a lovely SEIturday!

PS: #1 here. Thank you for all the messages via email and Facebook about the awful attacks in Paris. I am in England, as you know. I have checked in with my cousins in the Paris area and everyone is OK. The Gang and I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and we hope it will stay safe and quiet.
