Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: This is the last Sunday before Christmas and it is particularly important to snuggle during this time of year, don't you think? I have been snuggling away, with my Tommy:

And also with #1:

It's very important to provide #1 with full moral support this time of year as she is so busy organising all our entertainment schedule

My Beebs has also been snuggling with her, sometimes under-cover in his case…

But no always!

It doesn't show at all that he's crazy about his #1 (and vice versa…), don't you agree?

And he has been making biscuits on Tommy too, as usual!

Yes, YES, of course Sei-Chan has been snuggling with Tommy!

Now, the fields have been so muddy that #1 hasn't been able to get any selfies with the Vs, but she has a selfie with Altesse, Vidock's full sister!

Altesse is a real sweetie who loves cuddles, and #1 is very fond of her!

PS from #1: In response to a question in one of the comments yesterday, the Japan Cat Network is an excellent organisation that is worthy of support!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: We are posting a little later than usual today. We were entertaining last night, with eleven people here for a pot luck dinner, and they left pretty late so we were all pooped. We have more people coming to lunch tomorrow but at least we can get a little bit of rest today. The festive season can be exhausting, you know…

The weather has been rather grim this past week. Not cold but very grey and lots of rain, so I have been doing a lot of this:

That spot on the radiator is really quite special. Can you see that too am wearing a Christmas collar. Mine has little Christmas trees on it! It's from Beastie Bands.

#1 is quite pleased with this portrait of me. She says it really shows off my lovely eyes well. Many Abyssinians, such as our pesky bro Genji, have amber eyes, but in my family, we have green eyes! My Mama, Viña del Mar, had the most amazing emerald eyes.

Violette and Vidock Vendredi

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! How are you all? Our # is so busy right now that we are not seeing her as often as we would like, but here is a lovely photo she took of me the other morning, when the mist had not yet lifted properly:

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend. I agree with Violette about insufficient visits from #1. Here is a photo she took when she last visited:

She says she loves my white head with the dark body! She also says that my colouring is pretty good at hiding dirt!

#1 here. Please indulge me for my third "V" of the day. I have for several years been a huge fan of British dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin and her amazing horse, Valegro. This week, the pair broke two world records in two days at the Olympia International Horse Show in London. The records they broke had both been set by them! They are a true inspiration to anyone who has ever loved watching horses and riders at their best. So, here is a photo I took from the TV set as they were breaking the world record in the Grand Prix Freestyle to earn an amazing 94.3% (to give you an idea, the rider who came second got 83.5%):

Wondering Wednesday

Genji This is Exhibit A and it is what we are all wondering about:

It apparently contains our Christmas present, but she will not let us take a look or even a sneak peak at it. She says she is going to wrap it and put it under the tree. She is refusing to give us any hints but she is going around talking about a Sseriously Ssenssational Sssurprise. Is she taking up Parseltongue? Is that a hint in itself?

I suppose we can only wait. Sssssssigh…

"Two-Bell-Tama" Tuesday!

Tama-Chan: It would seem, Dear Friends, that I shall be known as "Two-Bell-Tama until the end of the holidays. Why, you wonder? Well, it could have something to do with my beautiful glittery red Christmas collar:

That's right! It has TWO bells on it! That's the way it came and #1 says it makes me extra special! Here is another view of the collar, although you cannot see the bells:

As I have been a little out of practise, I have been working on my dangles. Here is a little head dangle to get us going:

All of this activity is quite exhausting and so the next step was of course a proper nap!

Manly Monday

Tomaso: We have been putting up our Christmas decorations. First, of course, was the Christmas tree, but there are lots of peripheral items. The one I am enjoying the most for now is my new Christmas blankie. It is really, really soft. #1 bought it for me when she was in the States, at a shop called Kohl's.

Genji: Here I am, enjoying a nice family evening with my bro, Tommy (and with the scratcher, of course!):

Oh, and I have a nice new Christmas collar. Do you like it?

Da Beebs: I got a new collar too and I really like it. #1 says the colour really suits me!
