White Wednesday

#1 here.We had rain and warmer temperatures yesterday, so the snow is almost all gone. We are back to mud until it cools down again later in the week. But we thought you might like a few more snow pics, including some of the Vs that were sent us by Ms. C:

Violette

Vidock

And here is Tommy again:

And a few of our birdies, some of the stars of our Bird TV channel!

A Turle Dove

A Blackbird

Two Great Tits and a Blue Tit

a Chaffinch

We have a multitude of feeders in several different locations, and always make sure that our birds are well fed, which probably explains why they're all quite round!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Well it has continued snowing... In case you're wondering what we mean, here are a couple of photos #1 took when she drove out to see a friend yesterday:

We did not even get to go out in the run today. I am, however, very happy to say that #1 has continued to take photos of me, so I can go ahead and do my post!

Such a relief!

Now, did someone mention I had pretty eyes?

Should I try looking up so you can admire my pretty white chin?

I need to take a few minutes to make sure my furs are in order...

All this is quite exhausting. I don't know how Daisy does it on a regular basis. Then again, I don't get treats during my photos shoots...

Manly Monday

Gen-Chan: We had more snow yesterday and this time, #1 opened the cat run and came in with us! I really like the snow. It's fun to dig it up and see what might be hiding beneath!

#1 says I am quite fearless!

Bibi-Chan: I agree that the snow is fun:

But so is a nice portrait of me, right?

Tom: Needless to say, I LOVE THE SNOW!

Vidock: Here I am, humming the cold air when it had just started to snow!

This last one was taken just before it started snowing, but here's looking at you, kids!

Have a great week, everyone. We might get more snow!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Needless to say, Dear Friends, the snow and generally icy weather have been very conducive to snuggles. I for one, believe in keeping warm by sharing #1's desk chair!

This of course is in addition to snuggling with Tommy...

Tommy and Sei-Chan have adopted a new snuggle pose which does make a nice change:

Plus more of the same old:

Genji sharing Tommy's bed in this photo for some reason reminds me of me sharing #1's chair...

And would you call this a nose-to-nose encounter?

I suppose this isn't quite a snuggle pic but what can you do?

There have been Vidock snuggles this week!

And Violette snuggles too!

This one shows Violette getting her apple:

We also had to include this excellent group snuggle pic from the gang at theVs' digs. There are two woofies and three kitties in this shot!

Wishing you a warm and snuggly Sunday!

Snowy Saturday!

Tom: It finally happened! We got some snow! This is what things looked like when #1 and I went out for our last walk at midnight:

And this morning!

There wasn't a lot but certainly enough to have some fun in!

And I brought some souvenirs home with me!

The Chans also went into the run to explore. Tama was first:

Genji was the bravest!

Even Sei-Chan ventured out into it:

Meanwhile...

Mr. SleepyBeebs was still in bed! He did go out and explore once he got up:

We even have some photos of the Vs in snow, courtesy of Ms. C!

And, by the way, #1 and I did get out to see the Vs before the snow yesterday morning!

Vidock and Violette Vendredi

Vidock: Studly Neighs, Everyone! As you know, #1 comes to visit me and Miss Violette about every couple of days. When she came on Wednesday, I was still in my box and so she got to witness the "turning out of the stallion"!

As you can see, I was rather impatient to go out:

Ms. C had to stop me a minute, and I winked at #1!

And then stepped on smartly...

...tasting the odd blade of grass on my way!

Did you notice my handsome new red lead rope? A present from #1, of course.

My hay was waiting for me in my field. Really, I have no complaints at all about the service!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Dear Friends! The last few times #1 had come to see me, about the best sighting she got of me was this:

Yep. That's me in the middle behind the trees, where there is the least mud. But when she came on Wednesday, we had had a hard frost overnight and some of the mud had hardened. So, this is what happened:

And guess what? I got a whole, entire carrot and lots of cuddles from #1!

She said she would come again today, but they have been talking snow. I hope she can make it. Hooves crossed!
