Thankful Thursday

Tama-Chan: Today, we would like to express our thankfulness to Ms. A and Mr. D for looking after us so very well! They have been catering to our every whim and we are seriously considering keeping them, although we're not sure what #1 would think about that...

Our meals are served in timely fashion:

We are played with as much as we could wish!

I can lounge to my heart's content on #1's now empty office chair:

And Tommy gets all the outdoor fun he could want!

By the way, we would like to apologise for our very intermittent commenting these days. Our scribe points out that things are complicated, and helping us post each day is about as much as she can manage on a regular basis.

Woofs on Wednesday

Tom: It's Tommy here again, but don't worry, there will be plenty of kitties in this post! I wanted to say a big thank you for all the great birthday wishes yesterday! I had a most excellent time, and thought I would share some of the photos of our day with you.

Here I am first thing in the morning, supervising the preparations!

Once the festive decorations were in place, The Chans were invited to have breakfast!

And I had the most yummy food. I am a fish kind of guy, so Ms. A made me some cod!

After that, I was ready for some birthday cuddles!

 Sei-Chan was very busy playing with the streamers!

It was quite a day and The Beebs and I needed some beauty rest by evening!

#1 would also like to say thank you for the birthday wishes. This is what she saw on her birthday:

Yep, she spent three hours in the dentist's chair! I bet she wishes she had been here with me!!!

Tommy's Tuesday BIRTHDAY!

Tom: Woof Everyone! Today is my FIFTH BIRTHDAY! I am sorry that my #1 is not here with me because, as it happens, it is her birthday too and we usually celebrate together, but Ms. A and Ms. D have promised me a day full of fun (even more so than usual!).

So, shall we take a trip down memory lane together?

Here I am at three months. I was still living in Normandy with my Mum, Minnie, and all the gang up there:

When I came to live with #1, I made friends with Sen-Chan, the original "Poupounet":

And with Madrac, TOWCB Fernant:

It soon became clear to my #1 that I am a very happy boy. Here I am, shortly before my first birthday, showing her my best smile:

And my ears started to fly very early!

A Note from #1: Tommy, you are the best woofie that anyone could ever wish for! You are sweet and gentle and good and so much fun, and sharing my life with you is a real privilege. I know each and every Chan agrees with me on this. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOMMY!

Manly Monday - One Each

Genji: Our scribe wil be in the air again today, flying from Toronto to Charlottetown, so our Monday post cannot be as long as usual, but it can of course be as sweet as usual.

I have to tell you that I rather like Mr. D and I have proof!

Horsey Snuggles on Sunday!

Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! #1 came to see us the day before she left for Canada, and we all got major snuggles from her, starting with me!

Vidock of course also got his share:

And Uuka got a big hug to wish him well in his new life:

Then, #1 left for Canada, and guess what she got up to (or is it "up on"?) there as soon as she arrived?

That big guy is called Yoder Farm's Duke and is one of the most famous Percheron stallions in North America! As you can see, #1 was very happy to meet him!

The news from The Chans and Tommy is good. The boys will post tomorrow, as usual.

SEIturday!

Sei-Chan: Yes, it's SEIturday again and we heard from #1 that she has made it safely to Canada and was most touched by all your kind wishes. She said her journey was as smooth as could be. She is spending the weekend in Toronto with her two cousins, and they will be doing a mega-Percheron breeding farm visit tour today!

At our end, I have taken a real shine to one of Mr. D and Ms. A's suitcases!

And their bed as well!

#1 did take this rather good portrait of me before she left:

And I continue to share the cat tree companionably with The Beebs:

It's like that song, isn't it? You have to "look on the bright side of life!"

Farewell Friday (or rather "au revoir" Friday)

Tom: Hello everyone. Tommy here. I am writing today as I shall actually be accompanying #1 to the airport. She says it is simply wonderful to have me along all the way to the terminal! Our house-sitters, Mr. D and Ms. A are really lovely, but we of course all hate goodbyes...

For Urey (Uuka) it was a big farewell as he will be going to his new owner, Mr. B. later this month so will be gone when #1 gets back.
