Fabulous Friday!

Tom
: Guess what? We finally got our Secret Paws package! It took incredibly long to get here but it finally arrived, from Suzanne, Smoker, Devon and Tanner at Four Crazy Cats! And even better, the sun actually broke through the clouds when we opened it!

Bibi was the first to investigate the package:

And he quickly called me over to have a look:

A nice card, and so much exciting stuff!

There was a stocking of 11 purple toys, including balls and mice. I quickly claimed those as my own!

As for Tommy, he grabbed the stuffie.

The girls are usually better behaved. But Tama-Chan just LOVES laser pointers and was thrilled to bits to see there was one in there!

As for Sei-Chan, she was thrilled to discover there were lots of yummy treats in there, such as Temptations and Party Mix (and even some special treats for Tommy!), and demanded to know when she could try them all!

And last, but not least, there was a beautiful throw, with both kitties and woofies on it. We love throws!!!

Thank you from all of us for the great SECRET PAWS. It is like enjoying Christmas all over again!

Thankful Thursday

Bibi-Chan:
The weather is seriously stinky today. It's not cold but it is pouring with rain and #1 said the fields were totally soggy and squelchy when they went out with Tommy this morning (he needed serious wiping down on his return!). So, we are grateful for being indoors where it is warm and dry, and for having lots of entertainment!

We got a big delivery from Zooplus and it came in a box large enough to hold four times as much stuff. #1 has now designated it an official play area for us!

#1 also got us a proper dome yesterday. We all checked it out when it first arrived but haven't been in it since...

In response to some of the enquiries following yesterday's post, #1 would like to say that she in fact helped a friend take a horse who was quite unwell to a special vet after his regular vet completely botched care. The horse was unwell but still very powerful and almost demolished the van along the way. He is now safely at the vet's and in very good hands.

Also, for those of you who are not familiar with it, we should tell you a little but about "Chi's Sweet Home." It is a "manga" series about the life of a little lost kitten who is taken it by a young Japanese family. It has also been made into an animated series. #1 has been buying the books since they first started to come out and just got the latest volume, as well as the calendar, when she was in Tokyo!

Almost Wordless Wednesday

#1 has been out all day on horse business so our offering today is simply to share one of our 2011 calendars with you. This is most especially for those of you out there who are fans of "Chi's Sweet Home."

Tama-Chan on Toesday

Tama-Chan:
We are rather enjoying the return to normal routine after the holidays although we could do with a few more sun puddles. We had some yesterday but today is dull and grey. Never mind! #1 says that one of my "Diva" photos should help to brighten up the day!

And here is a more pensive shot of me. She says it offsets my jade-green eyes!

Now today is indeed Toesday and we haven't had a proper Toesday post for ages. I don't have anything to contribute to this one but my little sister, Sei-Chan, is famous for her salmon-pink toes:

As for Tommy, everyone's favourite woofie, he has very workmanlike toes that easily crunch icy grass!

Manly Monday!

Tom
: It was a frosty morning here, with temperatures barely clearing -6C (about 24F) but it has warmed up a bit now and it is sunny! I enjoyed my morning run in the crunchy fields!

Rather better than the other day when there was a lot of fog, although fog is perhaps manlier?

Here is a very manly indoor shot of me with the smaller of my two Kong barbells:

We got a package in the mail today and we were hoping it might be our Secret Paws but not yet! We were happy, though, because we did finally get our "Paws" Cat Blogosphere calendars!

Bibi-Chan: Yesterday, #1 actually sat down with us and a book for the first time in ages, so I went immediately to sit on her and I was richly rewarded! I got the most divine ear massage!

I just LOVE ear massages! They are by far the manliest activity one can indulge in!!!

Although sitting in a sun puddle is pretty nice too!

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

PS: Just a quick reminder that the auction for Brighton is running until January 5th. The site is here.

Sei-Chan on Sunday

Sei-Chan:
You did notice, didn't you, that SEIturday was yanked away from me unceremoniously and given to that great big lump, excuse me, to my sweet but very large little brother....? Humpppphhhhhh..... Anyway, #1 said I could host the Sunday post although, almost unbelievably, there are no new shots of ME snuggling to show you! Ah well, we shall have to make do and I am sure that these photos will make you want to come and snuggle with me...

Right?

As you know, Tommy and #1 were invited out on New Year's Eve and Tommy got to cuddle with their hostess, Ms. V:

And he got extra treats from #1!

Tama-Chan managed to sneak in there and get in some snuggles with Tommy as well:

As for Bibi-Chan, I would call this more "Sprawled on Sunday" than "snuggles". Just look at the pair of them!

And #1 did also get a snuggle from Vidock!

Wishing you all a Very Snuggly Sunday!

HAPPY NEIGH YEAR!

Vidock
: As the new kid around here, #1 thought it would be fitting for me to be the one wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR on behalf of the whole Poupounette Gang.

#1 and Mr. Floppy Ears came to see me yesterday. It was a little embarrassing as Viking and I were having our afternoon nap, pleasantly sprawled on the straw.

But she said not to worry and to just relax, and that this was a good opportunity to get some close-ups of my beautiful (!) head. Do you think this is my best side?

Or should I go for the profile shot?

Anyway, back to today! You know by now that #1 has a thing about Japan. Over there, they use the western calendar in combination with the old Chinese zodiac, which means that the YEAR OF THE RABBIT starts today. So, we have a special New Year's card for all of you!

We're all looking forward to lots of fun blogging adventures in the coming year!
