Tama-Chan Tuesday


Tama-Chan: Today marks a week since #1 came back. It is sweet to have her back but I must tell you that none of us have much energy at the moment. It was 35°Ç (mid-90sF) here yesterday and more of the same is predicted for the next few days. Nobody has AC here and so we are staying cool by doing very little.

Here I am, napping in the hammock by the window in the study:

Now if you will excuse me, I shall go back to staying cool.

    I hear ya... we have the same heatwave... I have my morning patrol at 7 am now and we rarely find sleep at night... it's just tooooo hot...

    We had a temperature of 35C last week and it was not fun. It was humid.
    Now, we are back to the low 20'sC and like it better.
    Resting is the beat way to handle heat :)

    It's about as hot here as it is where you are! We have A/C, though... which is typical in the States.

    We're used to heat but heat+humidity just kills us. Has +1 taken a look at those Delonghi pinguino portable air conditioners? They're very smart looking, easy to use and work really well. No installation at all just a vent out a window. and they can be rolled into a corner when not in use. We love ours.

      Thanks for the suggestion but the Delonghi pinguino is priced way beyond our budget!

    We couldn't imagine living somewhere in the 90s with no AC. We've had our AC on since February.

    It has been so hot here too and we are very grateful for our a/c. Mom has been grumbling about the BIG electricity bill that arrived yesterday, but we told her we all deserve to be comfy:)

    Coucou Tama,
    La première photo est géniale. Cette lumière fait un effet .... parfait !
    C'est dur cette chaleur. Surtout que c'est tôt dans la saison. Il fait un peu moins chaud ici.
    Il va peut être faire meilleur la semaine prochaine.
