Vidock and Violette Vendredi

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! Well, we got all of my blood test results back and, as far as #1 can figure out, there is nothing wrong with me! What is even better is that, in the past few days, I have been seen cantering around my field and generally acting a lot friskier, so we are hoping that happy days are here again for the Big V!

 

 

Violette: I must say it is a bit of a relief that there is nothing serious wrong with the Big V. He is a little on the boastful and show-off side, but family is family, right?

 

And, on the subject of family, here is a nice pic of my Mama, Hôtesse, and my little sister, Doucette:

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: Do you like to run, Friends? I LOVE to run, with the wind whistling through my ears...

 

 

The only issue, as far as #1 is concerned, is that this is seed season and I end up totally covered in burs that attach to my soft fur. She has to spend so much time each day combing me out, and sometimes, she just doesn't feel strong enough to tackle my ears, knowing that the exact same thing will happen again when I next go out.

 

There will be a short season of Camp Tommy today and tomorrow as Fernant's parents are going away overnight. Wish me luck!

Way Back Wednesday

Da Beebs: Everyone knows I was the cutest kitten ever... I have lived here at Poupounette Central since the day I was born, and so #1 has been taking photos of me since day 1. So, I thought I would kick off  this WBW with a photo of me when I was 4 days old:

 

Yep, that's me raising my paw, demanding that #1 keep me forever!

Next up is a photo of Sei-Chan when she was about three weeks old:

 

Now, my Mama Tama has always been a total glamour puss, so none of you will be surprised by this shot of her at about six weeks:

 

She really knew how to work the camera, even as a tiny kitten!

Here is a shot that Genji's breeder sent #1 when he was about seven weeks old:

 

We thought it would be nice to include our rainbow Aby boys in this post too. Here first is Ikkyu, #1's first Aby, taken just after he came to live with her in Tokyo, at about eight weeks old:

 

Here is Sen-Chan, aka "Poupounet", the day he came home:

 

And finally, here is Yuu-Chan on one of his visits to Poupounette Central, aged about eight weeks, before he actually came to live here:

 

Poupounette Central has been good to us all, present and past, and even though #1 goes away from time to time, we love living with her, and vice versa!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: So, #1 is back yet again and this time she has promised to stay put for a while. She says she is feeling tired after a crazy summer and she needs some time here because she has an exciting new project in mind and wants to think about it and talk about it with various people. The project would be local. Hurrah!

I would like to give my seal of approval with this unusual double vertical and horizontal dangle:

Maybe now I can truly relax...

Manly Monday

Tommy: #1 returned last night, quite late and completely exhausted. But it was so nice to have her there when we all went to sleep! We were well looked after by Mr. G until Sunday morning, and then I spent the day with my girlfriend Damia. #1 says she will now stay put for a while!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: You know how most of our snuggle photos with Tommy show us snuggling against him? Well, here is something different! A pic of Tommy giving me a giant snorgle!

 

Believe me, it was most enjoyable! Oh, and by the way, we all love tummy rubs so that is never an issue.

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: So here we are. Yet another SEIturday without #1. Well, she was here first thing and gave us food and cuddles and then she was off, and she won't be back until tomorrow evening. Thank Purrdom for Mr. G who will be playing with us today and tonight.

I have had quite a busy week as there has been quite a bit of supervising to do. Here I am, first, in the living room:

A well-deserved rest, I would say!

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: Happy First Day of Autumn, everyone! Since #1 has returned, the weather has been nice and we have been enjoying lots of walks in my fields.

 

 

 

I am (as is #!!) happy to report that I have been eating my meals in the kitchen, like a good boy! But, you see, this is what I often have to deal with:

Right?

At last!

Tomorrow, I am going on a day-long adventure with #1. And then, Saturday morning to Sunday evening, she will be away but we will be in good hands again!
