Fatigued on Friday

Da Genj: The weather has been pretty much as they predicted this week. Rain, rain and more rain. So what's a pussycat to do? Da Beebs and I consulted about it and decided that the best option was to hit a hammock and nap until the sunpuddles come out:

PS from #1: I am thinking of getting a water fountain for the Chans. What would you recommend? Relatively low maintenance and reliable would be good! Thanks!

  1. We are expecting rain for the weekend too, so we will also enjoy some naps.
We do not have a fountain, so we cannot recommend one.

  2. For the water fountains, the main recommendation I have is anything that is NOT made of plastic. Some cats are allergic to plastic and will get chin acne, plus it's not as durable. Stainless steel or ceramic is awesome.

  3. What awsome spots for napping We don't have a fountain either. We are cats that get chin acne from plastic so, as Summer said , no plastic. Will it be outside? Maybe a small metal poultry fountain would work and be easy to keep clean.

  6. The best way to spend rainy days ! For the fountain, we would recommend ceramic, with an accessible and easy-to-clean pump. Purrs

  8. I agree with Summer, and the Swiss Cats too, no plastic, get a ceramic one, they are much easier to clean!

  9. We don't blame you for snoozing the day away. We agree with the others, don't get a plastic fountain. We have a ceramic one and it's pretty easy to maintain.

  10. It's been unseasonably chilly here in southern Alberta, with a chance of rain every day. I feel like joining my cats in their snoozes until the weather warms up a bit.
