Supportive Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: #1 has needed a lot of support since her accident, but it has to be done right. When, the day after, Genji head-butted her in the mouth, she screamed! She is also having a hard time sleeping at night so having the two boys muscle in, one undercover and one over-cover is only mildly amusing to her. Still, we are all trying in our own way. Genji of course wins the snuggle nurse award... By the way, #1 says she knows she looks frightening...

In the general spirit of things, Genji also snuggled with out fried Ms. V when she and Mr. T stopped by to bring home-made soup and help #1 with a bunch of things:

And he had been hanging out with Tommy:

As has my Beebs:

Sei-Chan and I, being girls, have kept a fairly low profile, not wanting to get in the way. I admire Sei-Chan for the way she has been taking her medicine.

#1 took this selfie with Tommy before her accident:

And yesterday, a friend took her to see the Vs and caught this nice photo of her with Violette. You will notice that her right arm is all wrapped up (hidden):

Well, that is all we can manage today. We hope you are all doing well and will have a snuggly Sunday.

  1. I'm glad that you all are taking care of #1, in your own way - and that she got to see the Vs! That was great!

  4. You are all doing a great job taking care of #1. Our mom knows all about cats trying to muscle in, one under the covers and one over the covers, except in her case it's one boy and one girl.

Sending lots of healing purrs to your #1.

  12. Poor little Genji! He was trying to give his #1 the most love filled head-butt he had and he caught her in a bad spot. Hope he wasn't frightened; number one is is whole world. Hope it didn't disturb any stitches either.
How lovely friends brought soup. Good and nutritious and easy to eat with an oral injury. You are all in our prayers.

  15. We are all caught up with your news now! Great news that Genji turned five and is now doing well after his health scare. Happy belated birthday dear Shining Prince! He is such a beautiful boy! Bad news about #1's accident! How awful! We hope you are allowing yourself to rest. Please take it slowly and don't push yourself too much. These sorts of accidents demand time and patience to heal! Sending you our love.
