Thankful Thursday

The Chan Girls: As you know, Dear Friends, we were rudely stuffed into #1's Touareg and carted off to see Dr. C on Tuesday. We made our feelings known. Sei-Chan was in the carrier, next to Tommy, but Tama-Chan had on her harness and rode pillion, And she sang the song of our people the whole way there!

Things went pretty smoothly once we got there. We both got our annual check-ups and were weighed. Tama-Chan's weight has been pretty stable, and was down just 100 grammes (that's 3.5oz). As you know, it had been almost 2 years since Sei-Chan had been to see Dr. C and everyone was delighted to see that she had shed some of that extra weight and now comes in at a little under 5 kilos (just under 11lb. We are very proud of Sei-Chan and thankful to #1 that she managed to engineer this without the use of the awful "D" word. So, we have lots to be thankful for! And #1 had remembered to bring some treats which she gave us as soon as we were back in the car for the return journey.

And we are now thankful to be home and not have to even think about Dr. C for a good long while!

And we got sunpuddles yesterday!

  12. We are glad all of you did so well at Dr C. San gets worried every time we need to go even before she meets our vet. We asked San what the dreaded D word was but she said she doesn't know. Sometimes you think you can rely on your person for information but sadly that's not always true.

  13. I am glad that everything went well for all of you, and that you even got sun puddles. It was my turn to be stuffed into the PTU today to have my blood stolen after being starved for 12 hours.

Thank you for the giggle! I can just imagine as I have heard it, too.

So glad you are both in great shape!
