Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Wow, has it been stormy around here the past couple of days! And we didn't get the worst of it. We heard from Tommy's birth family near the Normandy coast that an oak tree had been uprooted in their garden! Can you imagine that? We are very glad that we are indoor kitties and that Trav has a safe and dry place to be when it's like this.

Believe me, the hammock on the radiator in the study is one of the best places to be!

From here, I can properly supervise #1 at her desk:

Yep. Those are my razorshell clam supervisory ears!

I can see you, Tufty Rusty!

I guess it's OK for you to be there. It's miserable out there and you need to eat to keep your strength up and entertain us. I told #1 to put out extra walnuts for you.

Occasionally, I will come and sit on the old kitty condo next to #1's desk. It used to be covered with stuff but now she's cleared it:

Can you believe that this condo is more than 20 years old? #1 bought in when she still lived in Japan for TOWCB, Ikkyu. As you can see, it's still going strong!

Lastly for today, I thought you would enjoy this photo of me and my Beebs bird and squirrel-watching together. We're in February and that truce still seems to be holding (more or less...).

  6. Glad you guys are safe from the storms. Sounds like your friends had a pretty serious one if it uprooted a whole tree!

    Stay warm, friends!

  7. Tama-Chan I love how your paws are tucked under in your picture. It's so cute. You've got the best spot in the house! It's a good thing Traveller has a safe warm place to stay with that storm coming. I'm just so happy that you are on good terms with Da Beebs, Tama-Chan! You guys are actually sitting together. Anyway, I love that 20yr.old cat condo. Guess what? I live in a human condo! Well, I have to get to work. Yeah! It's a Tama-Chan Tuesday!

  10. Tama, you are very lucky to have so many warm and comfy places to rest when it is nasty outside. We have sunshine, but chilly temps and very strong winds. Alas, no snow:(

  12. That condo is still looking very good. I am glad your truce is holding up with Da Beebs. It is much better for everyone if you can keep it up.
We have had it very stormy here also with lots of trees down, mostly in our wood but some have fallen on the electric fence, so quick repairs needed there. My dad will be able to get lots of firewood for next winter.

  13. Tu as bien raison Tama.
