By the way, old friends, have all you old-timers seen that the wonderful Dragonheart and Merlin at Chat au Sphynx are back to blogging after being gone for many years? They now also have a sister, Devi. We were so happy to see them back although very sad that Merlin is fighting cancer. These guys hold a very special place in our hearts. They left a comment on the second day we ever blogged!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: It has been a good snuggle week for us, Dear Friends. We have been able to concentrate properly on snuggling rather than on worrying. Those are the best kinds of week, especially when they also come with plentiful sunpuddles!

Since many of our friends do Selfie Sunday, we decided to include a few combo photos for a Selfie Snuggles on Sunday post! Let me kick off with one of me and #1:

Genji was certainly into Selfie Snuggles this week!

Sei-Chan: It has not been a bad week for sunpuddles and #1 has done her best. She hasn't been using the better camera because, in the space of two days, it killed three rechargeable batteries! She has ordered a couple more and, in the meantime, has been using #2 camera. Let's see what she has come up with:

 

 

Not bad, #1. I am quite well pleased.

Frootbat Friday!

Genji: Mee-Yow, Everyone! Thanks you, once again, for all the nice comments about my recovery. I am feeling good and #1 is keeping me well-supplied with fresh chicken and cuddles! We thought it was high time we did another Frootbat Friday post. #1 happened to snag this one of me peering out from one of the cat trees:

 

Of course Bro Beebs is always claiming that he has the best frootbats...

 

Sei-Chan managed to catch a bit of sun with her 'bats:

Thankful Thursday

Da Beebs: Today is Thursday and we turn once again to the things we are thankful for. I for one, am thankful to have my little playmate back, so we can play THoE around the house again! Da Genj had his weekly weigh-in yesterday evening and he came in at 3.6 kilos. That is 100 grammes more than a week ago! Dr. C had told #1 that the ideal would be for Da Genj to gain 100 grammes a week, and we are right on target so far! We are very proud of him! Here he is, waiting for one of his meals of baked chicken:

I of course am just as cute, and I know everyone is thankful for that!

 

Woodpecker Wednesday!

#1 here. At Poupounette Central, we have lots and lots of birds who put on great Bird TV channel programming each and every day. Of course, in return, they get great food on a daily basis. This time of year, one of our most favourite visitors is a Great Downy Woodpecker. He used to be very shy but recently, he has sat on the branch in front of the feeder long enough for me to take some great photos. So, may we present:

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: I am very glad to report that things are gradually returning to normal around here. Yesterday morning, that Beebs of mine and the Blue Boy were tearing around the house, chasing each other at such speed that they were barely visible. Good times, eh?

After early forecasts to the contrary, we are now being told that we may indeed get some sunpuddles this week, so we are keeping our paws crossed. In the meantime, here are a couple of photos from last week's sunpuddles:

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: It's the last week of February already! They are forecasting rain all week but we are crossing our paws that next week will bring sunshine and nice days!

Tommy: The bad weather recently has meant that we haven't done a lot outside, but I always make do, and there is always fun to be had when we do go out!

 

 

Da Trav: I Love the fact that I get food and shelter but nobody tries to catch me. I am a free spirit!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: I have to tell you that we are very happy to be back to a regular SoS post! Little Genji seems to be getting better every day, and he has been doing a lot of snuggling as you will see. The rest of us are also "hard at it" especially that today is a grey and rainy day.
