Bibi-Chan: Now, Gentle Readers... you know us a little and know that we are real boys at heart, with a love of wrestling and hunting... Here we are, at standoff point at some point a couple of days ago. The photo is blurred because of the speed of the action.
You also know by now that I, the Beebs, am a mighty hunter. So, if you are squeamish, this would be a good time to look away, because I caught another silly birdie!
Now my little brother, Gen-Chan, would like to think he is also a mighty hunter, but he is as yet inexperienced, so the best he can do is "borrow" my catches:
Sad to say, #1 was less than impressed by our joint prowess. She was really sorry the little creature did not survive his ordeal, and has sworn she is going to block off any and all possible entrance points into the run by silly birds. Ah well, it was fun as long as it lasted...
We too are sorry for the little birdie, but we are cats and we cannot help ourselves. We like to chase birdies and mousies.
ReplyDeleteWe do not have a run, but sometimes a mouse gets in our house.
Genji "borrowing" the catch,heehee
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,
Treasure,Tiger,JJ and Julie
I'm all for catching your own food, but sometimes you kitties can be quite cruel to your prey, so I understand why #1 wants to discourage this behavior.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
That's quite a mess of feathers you brought into the house there, Beebs. We understand why #1 might have been less than thrilled with the outcome, even though you were just following your mighty hunting instincts.
ReplyDeleteBoys will be boys, we say. But now #1 has to clean up the mess!
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry for the birdie, but proud of your hunting skills, Beebs. You are ALL CAT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bird brained birdie - hasn't he noticed that there are cats living there? Well done Beebs - put another notch on your hunting stick.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Boys will be boys! And stupid birdies deserve what they get! MOL
ReplyDeleteWell done Beebs! Two paws up!
Purrz!
Selina
sheesh.....the feathers in the house is a bad thing. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! No more birdies. They may have kooties
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
All hail the mighty mancat hunters! All hail!
ReplyDeleteGo on, we dare you to get Rufus.......
Oh no, #1 will never send us any more Party Mix if we say that. Whoops.
We feel badly for the silly birds too, but we also understand. The dumb birds here keep flying into our big windows and if we are lucky, we find them stunned. We usually just poke them around, we seem to like the flavor of rabbit better:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

Boys will always be boys...
Natacha
Wow I never get that far with a Berd, Humom always grabs it before I can feast..Mawahhaaaa xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
We are cats and it is part of our very nature. Our mum hates to see any animal injured or killed so we understand your #1's dismay. We have a screened in catio and we have virtually destroyed the screening trying to catch passing birdies. Cats will always be cats.
ReplyDeleteWe feel bad for the birdie too, but it was kind of silly for it to enter your place.. and you were just being cats, and being cats is not a bad thing!
ReplyDeleteI think you are an awesome and mighty hunter, Bibi! Humans just do not properly appreciate such prowess.
ReplyDeleteI think you are mighty hunters too but mum says she is glad you are blocking the entrance for silly birds.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteCongrats pals ! Great hunt ! Loupi and Zorro
ReplyDeleteYou are a mighty hunter. I rarely catch birds, I prefer mice. Eric was the bird catcher, and if he got one he would not give it up.
ReplyDeleteUh oh! The run is turning into a death chamber for unsuspecting birds! Fun for you boys but not so fun for the little birdies! Ack. Life!
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
We have a bird building a nest outside our front door. Maybe that's why Truffle keeps trying to sneak out.
ReplyDeleteJust showing off your hunting skills.
ReplyDeleteWe are very impressed by your hunting prowess, but sad for the birdy. It was very thoughtful of you two to bring your catch indoors to show to #1.
ReplyDeleteYow BiBi & Genji you shure made a mess wif da birdie...da Hu'manz don't like when we bring dem doze kind of giftz....maybee it iz fer da best if da run iz made safe for da feathered onez!!! Dey are more fun to watch den to eat me finkz ;)
