Tommy's Thorny Thursday!

Tom: Woofs Everyone, Tommy here! You all know that #1 taught me a long time ago that I should never harm any other living being, and I am always very good about that when I am out and about. Lately, when we go out late at night, i have added a new twist to this: I let #1 know when our friend Mr. Hedgehog is out in the garden! That way, she can put a little food out for  him.

It's hard to take photos at night, but here he is:

We have decided to call him "Thor"! So, as full "outside members" of the Poupounette Gang, that makes Rufus and Thor. Now we are waiting to see if our barn owl family is active again this summer.

In other news, the first day of Sei-Chan's diet went quite well. We think she is quite enjoying the individual attention! The other kitties are a little puzzled, however, at the disappearance of their usual buffet.

I have been having fun running around in the fields where the grass is growing fast and the dandelions are blooming!

Even though it's now been dry for several days, I managed to find the one remaining mud puddle to lie in a couple of days ago. #1 was not amused, and I got the hose...

So now I'm back to looking my usual sparkling clean self!

Finally, today being gardening day, I should tell you that our big cherry tree has finally begun to bloom:

And our bluebells are in bloom!

Of course, the bluebells are wild so there was no gardening involved!

  1. How nice to see you outside once again enjoying the sun. Thor is looking shy unlike Rufus. We are glad that Sei -chan enjoys her diet. Bujang usually makes a fuss.

Thor could win any contest for 'camouflage' or 'find the animal' and you're such a good doggy, Tommy, to show him to #1 so he gets fed. purrsss Katie

  14. Hi, you have a lovely blog! The first time that we checked it! The thing about a hedgehog moved us, because here in north Finland we are just now waiting when the first hedgehog will turn up in our yard after winter, it's so exciting to wait for him/her!
