Therapeutic Tuesday

Sen-Chan: I would like to thank all those who wished me well yesterday. I am beginning to feel better, and have been playing with my little sister, although #1 keeps telling me to take it easy.

I would also like to say thank you for the suggestion on improving my immune system from my friends Siena and Chilli. An international network is now in place to get me some Engystol, as it is not available in France! Isn't blogging wonderful!

Tama-Chan: I have been very busy looking after my big brother:

I figure the more cuddles he gets, the quicker he will recover. Maybe I will be a nurse when I grow up!

Tom: # is only mildly pleased with me as I managed to cut my stop pad again yesterday, the self-same pad that I cut before (front right paw). The stop pad is less of a nuisance than the pawpads but it takes so long to heal, and she hated to see my leg all bloody out in the field (I hadn't even noticed...)

I'm trying to look extra-cute to make up for it. Oh, and by the way, we went to get our Christmas tree today. I can't wait for Tama-Chan to get into it. NO! I didn't mean that! I can't wait for Tama-Chan to see it...

Pastoral Scene

Tom: #1 was sitting at the computer and laughing. I took a look and there was an image of a field with a couple of cows grazing peacefully. So what, I thought, and then I did a double-take. Those weren't cows! Those were me and Pie the other day! So what if we did a little grazing? Does that give her the right to laugh?! Well, maybe it was quite funny...

Tama-Chan: I have been learning to use the computer! I keep asking #1 to get me some mouse-hunting games, but she hasn't given in yet. Maybe for Christmas?

Sen-Chan: Well, I have yet another upper respiratory infections. Runny nose, runny eyes, sneezing - the LOT! This appears to me my fate in life. So, I'm on medication again. It's a good job I am so nice about letting #1 give me pills! She says I am beginning breathe a little better, so she is pleased.

But I don't get a whole lot of down time from you know who...

Friends

#1: Most evenings, if I sit in the living room to watch TV, Sen-Chan, Tom and Tama-Chan are all occupying their own places. Sen-Chan is on his alpaca throw on the back of the big armchair, Tom is on "his" small sofa, and Tama-Chan is on her fleece bed on the larger sofa where I sit. Last night, however, Sen-Chan decided to occupy Tama-Chan's bed, and she joined him:

Of course, Sen-Chan continues to snuggle often with his buddy Tom, mostly when Tom is on his bed in the study:

Tama-Chan hasn't yet figured out that she can actually snuggle with Tom, but she just adores him and he will sit perfectly still as she goes up to him for cuddles:

Tama's Social Debut!

Tama-Chan: I am very excited today because I am invited to go with my friend Isis to have tea at Miss Peach's! This will be my first grown-up outing (although I am still only 4 months old, actually). #1 has been giving me all kinds of instructions on how to behave in society (starting with NOT climbing up the computer screen, but is that truly society?!). I am a very well-bred little girl, you know, and I shall make her proud!

Thunderous Thursday

Tom: We are all back together at home (I had a very nice day at Pie's yesterday, as usual!), but things have been rather thunderous here this morning.... Firstly, #1 got an estimate from the garage on the work that needs to be done on the car and she was NOT happy that there was one more zero than she expected there. But she decided it would not be a good idea to let the wheels fall off, so the bearings will be replaced. Phew! I ride in that car a a lot you know!

And then, there was the weather, it was nastier than nasty this morning and #1 was not enthused about stepping out in it. But I will give it to her, she did it for me. I must say I wasn't absolutely convinced either, even though I am an all-weather dog...

All told, this turned out to be the better option:

As well as playing with my tiny sister. She told me she missed me yesterday! You know I am the one for whom she purrs loudest!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

#1 has been gone all day. Tom has been at Pie's. Do you have any idea how boring that is?!

Tommy Tuesday!

Tom: Actually, yesterday was my GOTCHA DAY! No, #1 didn't forget it (really!). She simply got a little confused because we are celebrating today, with my friend Pie. The Champagne is in the fridge!

Anyway, I came to live with #1 and Sen-Chan one year ago. I was a little over 3 months old. Here I am, coming down the steps into the living room for the first time:

Here I am with my new brother, Sen-Chan. We got on really well from day one!

and with my new Teddy Bear:

I quickly settled in:

But decided I DID NOT LIKE the crate!

so that was that on that matter!

It has been a good year, and I love living here! Here are a couple of photos of me taken this morning:

Tama-Chan's PS: I just wanted to mention that I am 4 months old today! #1 says that I am beginning to look like a big girl!
