Tommy: Sometimes, #1 talks about complicated things. Yesterday she was trying to explain to me how the wheel turns and things move on. I tried to tell her that, for us woofies, there is only the now and we are too busy savouring the moment we live in to worry about any wheels! Anyway, the reason for all of this was to let me know that the wheel has turned for my sweet Aunt Cora, my Mummy Minnie's sister. She had been unwell for a few weeks but had rallied, and then late Wednesday night, she gently, softly left this world and walked over the Rainbow Bridge. So this post is in memory of Cora, daughter of Katie and Toby, sister to Minnie, and much-loved Aunt to me, Elsie, Lydia and Sophie, and great-aunt to Emily. And I should not forget my daddy, Joe. He is quite incapacitated, but in her last few weeks, he always wanted to snuggle with Cora.
Here is a sweet photo of Cora with Minnie on one side and Joe on the other:
Cora loved water, and here she is enjoying a good splash:
I will miss you, Cora, and I know how much Mr. R and Ms. A will do as well. Here is a photo of me, your nephew, in my golden field:
#1 says the wheel can now stop turning for a while as we would like Minnie to stay with us for a long time yet. Here is my Mama:
