Genji's "Tanjyobi" Tuesday!

Genji: Some of you may remember that last year, #1 almost forgot my BIRTHDAY and my actual birthday post was on April 1, which was a Tuesday. This year, my birthday actually falls on a Tuesday, so we will once again "go Japanese" and have a Tanjyobi" (birthday) Tuesday post.

As you can imagine, this year, I made sure, with regular gentle reminders,  that #1 didn't forget my birthday...

 

And it worked!

Anypaws, let us take a quick trip down memory lane, shall we? First, here I am, at just over three months, the day after I arrived at Poupounette Central:

I have been making sure I am squeaky clean for the celebrations:

 Of course, I am now a big, grown-up boy, so I have to "act my age" right?

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: I have decided that I am going first once again this week, and this time, I have some fresh photos for you! Firstly, have you ever tried blue cheese pasta sauce? This one was home-made by #1 with Roquefort cheese, crême fraiche and white wine. There was a little left over in her plate when she was done and, being the utter gentleman, I helped clear it up:

 

The weather was seriously nasty yesterday, so this is how I spent my day, first like this:

I am off to Dr.C's this morning for my annual check-up and shots. Purr me luck!

 

Da Genj: Before the weather turned nasty, I got to have a little fun in the run:

Tommy: Our walks were a little bit curtailed yesterday as the weather was so windy and rainy, so I did more of this than usual:

But, as you can see, I do have a great new toy to play with!

 

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! Afer all that hard work, I have had it a little bit easier the past few days. I don't remember if I actually showed you just how much wood I logged on that full day I worked:

 

Not bad for a beginner, eh?

Snuggles on Sunday

We moved to summer time overnight and it's now light until well after 8pm. All we need is a little sunshine...

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: It has remained quite cool at this end and we have been once again spending time hugging the radiators, in the hammocks:

This pair of #1's fleece pants are the most comfy sleeping space ever! I have to share it with my sister, Tama-Chan, but thank goodness the boys haven't discovered it yet!

Violette and Vidock Vendredi

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Well, what a busy time we both have been having! I have been continuing my lessons and my teacher is very proud of me and pleased with my progress! Just look at me:

Thankful Thursday

Tama-Chan: Yes, it's me again and you will shortly see why.  By the way, we did get our sun back yesterday and Tommy had several fabulous romps in the fields, so all is well with him!

Anypaws, in this matter, we are distinct laggards. Many of you are already possessed of one, if not several, of the 40paws hammicks. We had not had one until now although we had other hammocks, hnging from our beams or on our radiators. But when we saw one being offered in the auction for Winnie's Wish, we decided to go for it and won!

The package arrived several days ago but #1 has been so busy that she only got around to opening it yesterday. Much thankfulness ensued! Right there to assist with the package was my Beebs. Of course you know why don't you? The inside was slathered in nip!

 

#1 put it down on the living room floor and I just happened to wander by. LalalalalaLAaaaaaa...

 

This does look interesting!

DIBS!

 

What the?????

 That boy should have continued rolling in his nip.

 

Instead of appropriating my hammick!

 

Not for long, though!

The Blue Terror also tired of the nip...

 

...and joined in the fun:

 

But those boys have zero attention span and they were soon gone, and the hammick was MINE again!
