Favourite Frootbat Friday!

Da Beebs: #1 tells me that there was a time when the CB was awash with Frootbat Friday posts, but fashions come and go and lately there have been many less. We thought it would be fun to do another FF post and go back through our photos to find some amazing favourite 'Bats for you!

I am of course rather well-known for my own Frootbats, so here is my selection:

 

I was five months old in the first one and a few months short of my third birthday in the second.

Let's move on to Mama Tama:

 

Six weeks old in that first shot, and about 18 months old in the second.

Next is Sei-Chan:

Three months old in the first shot and three years old in the second

Last but not least of the kitty crowd is Genji:

  

Those were taken at three months and two years.

Now, our horsey friends have pretty cool 'Bats too, so they get a turn. Let's start with Violette:

At four months and just short of her fourth birthday!

Now our Tommy, needless to say, does not have frootbats, but he does have exceptional flying ears, so here are two of our faves:

Tommy Thursday - Camp Tommy!

Tom: Woofs, Everyone! Some of you already know that we received a call from our neighbour on Monday evening asking if we could look after Mad Fernant from Tuesday to Friday whilst she went to Paris, and we said yes. What possessed us? Anyway, we are now half-way through "Camp Tommy" and there is no major damage yet, although there is an awful lot of mud about…

Fernant sleeps in his own bed at night and we go and get him first thing in the morning. At first, we're clean:

But then we start playing…

And pretty soon, this is the look:

Although, as #1 says, Fernant never ends up quite as messy as me!

That would be because he doesn't play as hard!

He loves being in the house with us, and really likes the kitties:

And after all the playing we do, we tend to crash when #1 is upstairs in her study:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SEI!!!!!

Sei-Chan: Well, actually, my birthday was yesterday but here's the strange thing. For some reason, #1 has remained convinced that my birthday is actually on January 29th and since her brain seems incapable of shifting on that matter, we decided it was simpler to have the official celebration on her day. Sigh…

Today, I am five years old Can you believe it? I cannot believe that I have been a happy kitty at Poupounette Central for that long. For those of you who have not known me since those early days, I first came for a visit when I was very young indeed, three weeks old to be precise:

But, as you can see, I was already full of character… I was just five weeks old when I came to live here full-time:

In case you were getting worried, I came with my Mama and she stayed with me until I was three months old. During that time, we lived in the back room, just the two of us, with frequent visits from #1:

After my Mama left, I made friends with Tama-Chan and Tommy:

And later on with sweet Yuu-Chan who was with us such a short time:

#1 says I am the sweetest girl she knows. I get on with everyone, even though I am a bit of a scaredy-cat. I love my Tommy above all things, but I also love my #1 and sometimes sneak up on her in bed at night and snuggle in so close she can't move! I have grown somewhat chubby and #1 has tried to find ways to make me lose weight but nothing seems to be working. Sniff. She tells me I am gorgeous anyway.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Quite unexpectedly, we had a few sunpuddles yesterday, and we were all eager to sunbathe!

And then look who showed up, all ready to spoil my good time, as our dear friend  Daisy would say:

At least #1 was there so he had to behave himself…

In the evening, my sister Sei-Chan and I indulged in some synchronised napping:

Manly Monday

Tom: Woofs Everyone! We have had the most abominable weather possible for the past week and #1 and I have had to go out between raindrops, and not even succeeded in that most days. Still, here is one relatively dry photo of me and my orange ball:

Over the weekend, #1 was also distracted by watching the world cup dressage qualifier in Amsterdam on TV and I had to make every effort to remind her that she had to take me out to play ball as well:

Da Beebs: As you know, plumbing is a most manly activity, but when #1 started having problems with the flushing mechanism in one of our loos, it was in fact Ms. S who volunteered to come and fix it! So, I decided to lend her a paw:

I am not sure what she would have done without me…

I am happy to report that our efforts were successful! You're a champ, Ms. S!

Vidock: Just to show you that there are no hard feelings between me and my teacher after my little rodeo the other day:

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Somehow, snuggling seems more important than ever in this combination of gloomy weather and the realisation of the evanescence of life and joy. So here we go, starting with a shot of me head-bonking #1:

And making biscuits in anticipation of a big snuggle with Tommy:
