Bibi-Chan: Firstly, thanks everyone for leaving nice comments after our post of yesterday. They truly warmed our hearts. Unfortunately, my big brother Yuu-Chan had to go to Dr. C's yesterday afternoon as he just didn't seem to be doing that great. She is keeping him until there is serious improvement. He had a full series of blood tests that showed nothing abnormal, aside from the infection. He still has a fever and has lost some weight, probably due to the meds making him nauseous. She has sent off some other bits for more testing although he is not showing any signs of anything horrible. She thinks he is just a very fragile boy and it will always take him longer than usual to get over stuff. So, please keep the purrs coming!
In other news, I am being tortured as Ms. S is only feeding me 6 meals a day! Can you believe that?
You do notice the emptiness of the food bowl?! I know there is dried food there but it's just not the same! My Mama Tama has taken to supervising my meals. Do you think she is making sure I eat properly? Will she campaign for more frequent mealtimes?
My big sister Sei-Chan has always been a bit weird in that she actually prefers dry food! Can you believe that?
Tommy has been spending his time trying to persuade Ms. S to play Frisbee with him. He is going to be one happy puppy when Frisbee-Guy Mr. S arrives on Saturday! In the meantime, he has stopped licking endlessly at his paw. All that slurping was pretty gross...
By the way, in case there is a next time, #1 has ordered one of those BiteNot collars for him. Thanks for the recommendation!
We will of course have some pics of Yuu-Chan for you as soon as he gets home. In the meantime, thanks to Ms.S for providing these ones. We keep getting messages from #1 saying she is missing us desperately, in which case why did she leave?????!

We're purring really hard for Yuu Chan to get better.
ReplyDeleteTommy, resist the tempations to lick. It'll only end in more trips to the V-E-T!
Dearest Bibi-boy, you don't exactly look like you're being tortured with all that yummy wet food around your nosie. It's good to see you're so wonderfully taken care of.
ReplyDeleteWe're truly concerned about the news on Yuu-Chan. Both our purr motors are running and running endlessly for him. Our mom loves him very much too and she too sends positive healing vibes. Poor #1 being so far away! It's good that it's nothing horrible they can find, but nevertheless, we want him to be healthy and happy.
Hi Bibi! Thanks for the news roundup! We are sad that Yuu-Chan is not getting better - we are still sending him lots of purrs and prayers. We are glad that he is at Dr C's so they can keep a close watch on him - hopefully they can get him feeling better - we know that if you feel crummy and don't eat then you do want to eat and try sometimes it makes you feel crummy again and you need a bit of help feeling better to eat (does that make any sense?)
ReplyDeleteWe are glad that everyone else is doing ok, and we hope that the food situation improves - only 6 times a day! Wait, we only get the canned stuff twice a day - we may need to protest at our house too!
We are purring for Yuu-Chan to feel much better soon and be able to come home and join you all. #1 must be very worried about him with not being able to give him a cuddle.
ReplyDeleteWe are also sending healing vibes and purrayers for Yuu-Chan.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have an update and sweet pictures of most of you. Purrs aplenty from here for Yuu. Perhaps by keeping him at Dr C's they can give him some more potent IV or injection antibiotics to really fix that infection for good.
ReplyDeleteWe're sending purrs to Yuu Chan too and hope he gets well soon! As for the food situation....I suppose we're weird too because we wouldn't touch squishy food with a ten foot pole!
ReplyDeleteYuu Chan is in our thoughts and prayers....
ReplyDeleteWooos! I will be sending healing Sibes -vibes and keeping all of our paws crossed fur woo, Yuu Chan. I only hope I will be able to walk that way, but it is fur a wonderful kitty, so I will adjust.

Oh, we are purring for Yuu-Chan! It must be difficult for #1 to be out of town with this going on. We are glad that Mrs S took him to the Vet and that he is getting such good care. Great to see some photos of the Poupounette!
ReplyDeleteWe are purring for Yuu-Chan to get rid of that nasty infection sooner than later. Poor baby!
ReplyDelete::waving paws at Every-Chan and Tommy::
Oh poor Yuu-chan. But he is under good care I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteRe food, if you tried to lick all the wet food hanging from your moustache, I'm sure this would make for a 7th meal :-)
Many snuggles to all of you
Thanks for the update. We are sorry that Yuu-Chan has to stay at the vet. He must be very lonely without all of you to cuddle with. Hope he can come home soon and you can all miss your #1 together.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Niamh & Ambrose
Oh Bibi-chan, I can totally relate! Mom is simply starving us by only feeding us wet food one time a day. And you know what, Chani's like Sei-chan. She prefers dry food too.
ReplyDeleteBoth Chani and I are sending healing purrs to Yuu-chan. Mom is sending out healing thoughts and prayers to him too.
purrs,

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy! Looking handsome as usual!
We hope Yuu-Chan is feeling better soon. We send him lots of purrs!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are only getting 6 meals a day, Bibi-Chan??!? We only get two a day...there's something definitely wrong here!!
Yuu-Chan, I'm purrin' my hardest for you, my friend. Perk up, buddy, and shake off this thing! Tommy and the other Chans miss you so. And your #1 will be sooooo relieved! Yay for Dr. C!
ReplyDeleteBibi, your face needs washin'!
You are really cute there meowing! We hopes that you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteMore rumbly get well purrs for Yuu Chan from us all.
ReplyDeleteOnly six meals a day? How is a kitty supposed to survive on only six meals a day?
ReplyDeleteI am purring for Yuu-Chan.
You all seem to be in great hands! We are purring hard for sweet Yuu-Chan!!
ReplyDeleteOh Bibi-Chan, poor you, only 6 meals a day? Where does #1 find such poorly trained help? *g*...We are so concerned about Yuu-Chan, imagining the possibility of a terrible bone disorder (our Meowmy is a worry wart)...or maybe even that he's on Clavamox which is making him feel more ill than he actually is...Sylvie has just hopped up on the 'puter and is leading a chorus of purrs from all of us, hoping that Yuu-Chan will be feeling better soon and reassuring #! that he is in good hands and many cats' thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYuu Chan, we are purring even louder...you get better, NOW! We're so worried for you.
ReplyDeleteWe are wishing the best and speediest recovery to you! *purrs*
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, we are still purring for Yuu to get well! 6x purrs coming from us!
ReplyDeleteAnd Chester does not eat anything but dry food either, and kitty meelk.
We always envy your smorgasbord up on the table. hee hee, good training of your humans!

Did I read that right...only getting 6 meals a day? Unreal...how can they get away with that.
ReplyDeleteTommy, Grete says if you post a picture of yourself in your BiteNot Collar, she'll allow mom to post a picture of her wearing one (if Mom can find the picture!!!).
Please get well soon, Yuu-Chan. Pee S. I like your fine dining table. You guys deserve first class all the way.
ReplyDeleteHello, er, bonjour, my Finest of French Furballs! I know your #1 is on my side of the pond, hence the postin' is sporadic, but I just stopped by to tell you I'm purrin' for Yuu-Chan and my friend Tommy-and of course, sendin' my bestest TEXAS purrs for all of you havin' to rough it until she gets home!
