Woofie Wednesday - An Adventure!

Tommy: Woofs everyone! Today, I want to tell you about a most excellent adventure I had with #1 last week.  We had gone to see a friend who lives about an hour's drive away and, on the way back, #1 decided to stop at a large pet store called Maxi Zoo. There are no actual pet stores in or close to the town where we live, only garden centres or hardware stores with pet sections, and they do not allow animals inside! But this place was different and so I got to explore a pet store for the very first time in my life!

Ready to go in!

Look at all this stuff!

These doggy macaroons look yummy (#1 bought me some):

Do we need kibble?

We definitely need some new toys!

Maybe we should get this for thew Chans?

Did you bring enough money, #1?

Hey! Look at this!

"Toutou" means "woofie" in French. It was a real woofie bar! They had a big bowl of water AND a big bowl of their best kibble for woofies to try!

I tried! In fact, I ate most of it!!! It was delicious!

It was so much fun to go to the pet store. I hope I get to go again.

Yesterday's outing wasn't as much fun. #1 took me to see Dr. C because she noticed I had a small lump on my chest and she wanted Dr. C to check it out immediately. Dr. C had a good feel of it and told #1 not to worry, that this kind of lump was usually the result of some kind of impact. #1 just needs to keep an eye on it.

I am always a very good boy when I go to see Dr. C!

  1. Tommy I'm so glad your vet had good news and I hope that lump disappears soon.... I will bug the staff to go to maxizoo with me. we also have no real pet store in our area, just mr. bricolage and the mama avoids this shack, because she feels sorry for the poor berds and small critters they sell there. the next maxizoo is in st. malo, that is far away but maybe my frenemy Calix will go with me when I visit him the next time...

  2. I've heard about those Maxi Zoos over in Europe - how cool that you got to go to one, Tommy! And I'm very relieved to hear that the vet is not concerned about that lump.

  3. Wow!

That was probably as much fun as #1 has when going to Kohls ;-)

Too bad woo khan't khome visit fur we have lots and lots of Toutou shops!
