Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! So much exciting stuff has been happening over the past week that I barely neigh where to start! As you know, I have started work with a gentleman who is an expert in Doma Vaquera. This is a Spanish riding art that is the basis of all the "cowboy" arts. He normally works with Lusitanian horses, and I am the first Percheron he has worked with, so he had no idea how things would go.
We walked into the riding arena together:
And he started talking to me:
I listened very hard:
He lunged me:
And taught me how to listen:
And then he rode me:
My next lesson was on Sunday, and he was amazed at how well I remembered everything he had taught me. He talks to me really nicely!
And he says I am amazingly supple:
I like it when he rides me!
My next lesson is this afternoon. I can't wait!
Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! As you know I am back with Uncle E and Ms. S at my birth home and, yesterday, I had my first work session. Uncle E is pretty funny in how he takes me down to the tack room:
Hey Ho, Hey Ho!!!
Into the woods...
Of course, I had to be a little bit naughty, just to keep up my reputation.
But overall, I was a pretty good boy!
I will be working again on Thursday. Busy days for #1!!!
