Weather Wednesday

Tom: We keep thinking that the weather can't possibly get any worse, but it does! This morning, #1 and I braved howling winds and driving rain, and a temperature of 6C (48F). She kept telling me that the very fact that she came out in that and even played ball with me for 10 minutes was real proof of the extent of her love for me! This was the scene on our return:

We did get a little bit of a respite yesterday evening so we thought we would share a sky shot with you:

Vidock would like to say a big thank you for all the nice comments. He is feeling fine. For those of you who were puzzled by the procedure, the teeth that were taken out were wolf teeth and milk teeth. At his age, milk teeth need to come out to make room for adult teeth, but they're not always willing. And by the way, horses don't get cavities!

And in caae you were wondering, the girls will be getting the next three posts!

  1. Tommy, that is the clearest proof we can think of that #1 loves you a whole lot! Did you check to see that she had all her fingers after being out in those conditions?

Vidock, buddy, we are glad you are recovering quickly from your very scary looking ordeal. I don't think we would have behaved as well as you did!

  5. You look nice and cozy in your blanket Tommy. I hate the rain but Ambrose is happy to run around in it.

We are so glad to hear that Vidock has recovered from his dental. Those things that they put in his mouth make the dog grooming torture implements look like nothing.

    Your friends,
    Niamh & Ambrose

  12. Whew - so good to hear the good report about Vidock. We sure are glad we don't have to have that done to us.

Crazy weather for sure. We can't believe how hot it is here today. We are already at 90 degrees F. We are all still sporting our winter furs, this is just too darn hot for us.
