SEIturday Sulk (Sort of...)

Sei-Chan: It is SEIturday and, once again #1 is elsewhere. That alone is sulk-worthy, right? But we are being looked after by the very nice Mr. G, and #1 really needed a few days off, so I have decided that a full-scale sulk is not warranted this time.

 

I know I have shared quite a few of these sunpuddle shots over the past few weeks, but #1 says they are all different and all lovely. This next one also features my pink pawpads:

Violette and Vidock Vendredi

Violette: So, #1 left early this morning to go and see lots of horses over in England. She came to see us a lot before she left and she says she won't be gone long.

She got some fun photos of me a couple of days ago. It's me and my (very beautiful) shadow!

Vidock: At my end, I was fully in spring mode and managed to run away when Mr. P, the farrier, was taking me back to my field after shoeing me. Sadly, he caught me.

 

But I did play up some more on the way to my field...

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: Woofs, Everyone! You remember how the big field was covered in golden dandelions a little while ago? Well, now it has gone all floofy and silvery!

 

It's pretty fun to run through!

 

#1 says I look a tiny bit crazy in this pic:

#1 is leaving us first thing tomorrow morning. She is going to England, to the Southern Counties Heavy Horse Association spring event in Hampshire. She will be back next Tuesday afternoon, and Mr. G will be looking after us, so it won't be all bad.

Da Beebs: I read what my Mama Tama said in yesterday's post about how it was she who did most of the supervising in the cat run. Well, I CAN supervise and I have proof! The other day, a friend of #1's dropped by to have a meeting about a documentary film idea they are kicking around. He sat at the table with his tablet, and I supervised everything! Look:

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: I have been busy, Dear Friends. Whatever that Beebsy son of mine says, I am in fact the one who did most of the supervising as #1 was doing her gardening and installation work in the cat run.

 

 

I even found a good hiding place when that Beebsy boy got too close:

 

Recently, I have taken to sitting on this kitchen chair when the sun hits it just right:

 

It can be quite blissful!

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: Yesterday, #1 spent some time cleaning up the cat run and adding new installations and I of course helped her.

 

 

And here is a shot of me and Da Genj from outside the cat run. You can see the new big branch running across and the other one resting on it:

 

Da Genj; It was fun being out in the run with #1.

 

But you know how it is, all that fresh air makes you sleepy!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: I continue to be not quite satisfied with the SoS offerings, but I suppose it's good that we do have photos, right? Next weekend, #1 will be gone again, this time to England, and who knows...?

I have been doing a lot of snuggling with Tommy:

#1 and Tommy  went for lunch with some friends yesterday, and he got lots of snuggles, first with Ms. H:

 

And then with Mr. M who did rather a good job of simultaneously snuggling Tommy and Yumi-Chan!

The Vs are both MIA this week but we are hoping for pics of them next Sunday. In the meantime, we would like to wish a Happy Easter to those who celebrate it.

PS: WE have just found out that our dear, dear, friend Nellie crossed the Bridge on Friday. Nellie, once The Cat From Hell, was such a special girl and definitely a Queen. We will miss her more than we can say. 

We WILL meet again, Nellie Bellie.
