Travel on Thursday

Tom: Today is the day that #1 travels back to us in the Big Cat. We are all crossing our paws and craning our necks that she gets home safely and quickly. She says the car's boot is full of goodies for us!

Wordless Wednesday (Almost)

This is what #1 has been up to in Hampshire...

Once upon a time, it was like this everywhere. Now, this is close to being a unique sight. Kudos to Robert Sampson of Harbridge Farm.

This and That on Tuesday

Tama-Chan: First things first, Dear Friends. The Big Cat has her MOT papers, and the mechanic who did it all is actually called Mr. Angel! So,  all is well with the world again, and #1 can enjoy the rest of her stay!

We are all well and being spoiled by Ms. A, but we can't wait for #1 to get back to us on Thursday. I am keeping a look-out for her...

#1 has been quite busy and has been meeting some woofies, including this Springer Spaniel pup called Thumper:

And this tiny JRT pup called Rosie:

Rosie, who is 14 weeks old, is apparently smaller than even Genji!

At our end, Tommy has been enjoying the girls. Here he is with all of them, waiting to go out (sorry about the laser eyes):

Sunday Snuggles - The Curtailed Edition

Tama-Chan: We were hoping to have some woofie snuggle pics to share with you today but it is not to be, and since #1 had such a busy week last week, we're a bit short of material. I am happy to report, however, that Sei-Chan has come through for us with Tommy:

As has Big V, our studly Vidock!

Well, yes... That's not exactly a snuggly pic, but it is a very kissable nose, isn't it?

We are still crossing our paws for the Big Cat. It looks like her Percheron friends in the UK have managed to make arrangements for the necessary work to be done. We would appreciate some purrs and woofs of encouragement!

Last but not least, since she proved so popular yesterday, here is another picture of four months-old Baby Mae, this time with her Daddy (who would like it known that the somewhat bizarre facial hair is due to his appearing in a play at the moment...):

SEIturday Woes

Sei-Chan: Well, Dear Friends, things did not go as we would have wished and the Big Cat did not pass her test. There's nothing major that's wrong but the trick is now for #1 to see if she can get the work done whilst she's over there, not easy when you'r moving about constantly. Her horsey friends ae trying to help. We are crossing paws furiously.

I have been sending encouraging vibes to #1:

I am also prepared to stare down the mean people if need be:

#1 has also been getting lots of encouragement from her younger little great-niece, Mae:

And by the way, #1 says she has been shopping for us too, despite it all...

Violette and Vidock's Vendredi Portraits!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, everyone! We heard from #1, via Ms. C, that she made it safely to her nephew's home in England, so now it's just a question of the Big Cat's test this mornig. Hooves crossed at this end.

She did come and see us the afternoon before she left and took a number of portraits of us to share with you. Let's start with mine, shall we?

#1 says she loves the way I always come over to say hello and have a cuddle when she arrives!

Vidock: Neeeeeeeiiiiighs! I of course also always come over for cuddles. I especially love kisses on the pink bit on my nose!

We are told that things are pretty lively over at Poupounette Central at the moment. For the first time, there is parity in number between Chans and woofies!!! We hope to have some photos for you soon!
