Thankful Thursday

#1 here. As I go off for almost four days to the French Percheron Championships, it's my turn to be thankful. I am thankful for Mr. G who always takes such loving care of the Gang when I am not here. I am thankful that Queen Tama is still with us one year after her liver tumour diagnosis. She has lost weight and condition but is still into food, snuggles, and getting brushed, and she still won't put up with any bad behaviour from the boys! Every single day with her is a gift.

I am also thankful that I got to spend time with some adorable baby donkeys and calves yesterday. Here are a couple of non-Gang pics:

Woofie Wednesday

 

Ollie: Woofs, everyone. #1 is getting into panic mode. Today, we are taking German friends to see our foals, Ms. P's baby donkeys, and some Normandy cows. It's going to be a busy day, so I've been resting up!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Greetings from the Queen of The Poupounette! Tuesday is my favourite day of the week, although I do like Sundays too. I hope it's yours too!

I shall start with this shot of me on the lookout for yet another snack. #1 is pretty good about keeping them coming throughout the day.

I do like my double condo, and feel quite safe there. The blue one is roomier and so better for taking naps. You never know who might be watching or what their intentions are, do you?

It has not escaped my attention that a certain little twerp is trying to claim my beddie for himself. I'mm glad that #1 makes sure he is removed when I want to use it.

By the way, yesterday #1 roasted a chicken and I got my share straight out of the oven (after it had cooled down a bit!). It was delicious. Sorry about the mess and the blurring.

I'm glad that #1 will be back in time for my post next week. We'll just need to make sure that Mr. G takes some nice pics in the interim.

Manly Monday With Momo

 

Momo-Chan: Waves paws and tail... Hey everyone, Fluff Puff here with more great manly pictures. #1 took this nice one of me. It shows that I am a real champ when it comes to relaxing! I think Queen Tama was quite impressed with my dangle too.

Lately, she has been taking some really great pics of Benny, or maybe he's just gotten better at keeping his eyes open? Anymeow, here is another fine one of Benny Da Black:

As for our naughty little dragon Ryū, #1 has had to get cross with him as he has been trying to claim Queen Tama's beddie, a big no-no around here. He's a cheeky little thing, that one!

Ollie has really been enjoying his gambols in the fields, but not the deburring that follows. Here is a fun pic #1 took of him:

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: And another week gone by, just like that! September will be over before we ever got used to it! #1 has a busy week next week and will be busy (read away) again with Percheron stuff from Wednesday through Sunday. Mr. G will be here to spoil us, as usual. This is to explain that there won't be an SoS post next Sunday, so enjoy this one to the full!
