Sunday Snuggles

Tama-Chan: Somehow, I seem to have become the Snugge Queen! I confess that since the kits have been around, I have come to appreciate snuggling as I never did before. Everyone who comes into the room gets showered with purrs, headbutts and snuggles. A couple of days ago, a friend of #1's who loves cats came to visit. As he sat on the bed admiring my babies, I sat on his lap and purred and purred!

I must say though that the little ones are getting big so having them all stuck to my tummy is becoming quite a challenge!

The good thing is that, now that they have their eyes open and are a little more mobile, they can actively snuggle and play with one another!

We had our wonderful Aussie friends staying with us for a few days and I am told that Yuu-Chan lost no time in finding new snuggle partners...

Sei-Chan, on the other hand, remains faithful to her Tommy...

Occasionally, you can even see her head!

I will leave you a picture of our neighbours, Bob and Pomme, enjoying the snow:

Have a snuggly Sunday everyone!

Still Snowy Seiturday!

Sei-Chan: It's ben three days and the thnow has turned into snow... #1 is still stuck down here with us. Her car will not go up the snowy slope as it's too heavy. All our friends managed to get those wonderful textile anti-skid covers for their tires but they didn't have our size. Sigh.... Or not, actually, as it means that she stays here with us!

So what does one do when the weather is cold out? One option is to hang out and play with your little brother...

Or look elegantly contemplative...

Even when what you're contemplating is this....

But the best option, I think, is simply to look gorgeous.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Fab Four Friday!

Guess what? We are TWO WEEKS OLD today, so we decided it was high time we had our own blogging day on The Poupounette!

Several people have ben asking about our names. Yes, we apparently do have names! The problem is that #1 (she's still a bit blurred but we're seeing her better every day!) can't tell the three boys among us apart yet, so she has said she will wait until she can before giving us our names.

Yes, we do now all have our eyes open and we have been "eyeing" the rims of the bed we have been living in so far. We have a feeling that there is a big world out there for us to explore! Here we are, holding a conference on future strategy:

It has been cold here and snowing the past few days so #1 got us an extra radiator to make sure we stay toasty. Between her and our Mama, Tama, we feel we are being quite well looked after so far!

One for all and all for one!... or as we say in these parts "Un pour tous et tous pour un!"

Thursday's Thnowy Thurprise!

Thei-Chan: Yes! Its me again, or should I say it'th me again! Thei-Chan! Amazingly and quite unusually, we woke up to snow this morning, and we're told it will continue to come down tomorrow!

Here I am at the window this morning:

We put put lots of birdseed out every morning, and there was quite a queue today!

Of course, Tommy, the all-weather pup, didn't mind the snow at all as long as he got to romp in the fields and get his frisbee thrown for him!

Needless to say, there is only one truly sensible thing to be doing in this sort of weather...

and I'm glad to see that Tama-Chan's kittens are following my advice:

By the way, we have our Aussie friends staying with us for a few days and once #1 is done with her work, there are plans for a roaring fire, a game of scrabble and hot cocoa!

Tama-Chan's Tiny Toesday!

Tama-Chan: Hello everyone! The kittens and I also got our room decorated last night! We have stockings, and lights! Pictures further down... But first, as it is Toesday, I thought I would give pride of place to my little brood, who have some pretty cute toes to show off!

This one was a few days ago. A real classic, I think...

Here are a couple more:

and one more...

And now our Christmas decorations. We have a nice sign that says Merry Christmas in French, and a fun mobile with Santas and trees hanging from the ceiling.

The kittens each have their own tiny stocking:

and of course I have my rather larger one!

Before leaving you, I also wanted to include a rather fetching toes shot from my little sister Sei-Chan:

Oh, and #1 asked me to let you know that she is absolutely frantic with work deadlines and Christmas preparations, plus guests arriving tomorrow, and so apologises in advance if she cannot visit as much as usual.

Manly Monday - Our Christmas Tree

Tom: We are very happy to report that #1 finally got her act together and put up our Christmas tree yesterday. She was a little worried about the Terrible Reds but they were engaging in other kinds of mischief and have so far left the tree alone. My role was a supervisory one, which I carried out in my usual very manly fashion:

and I also had to make sure that MY decoration got pride of place, right near the top of the tree!

Yuu-Chan: I got a decoration too! All of my very own!

And the girls got their too!

Once everything was in place, I got to "sample" the fun stuff. #1 has put whappable decorations right at the bottom for us to play with!

I already love Christmas!

In closing, we would like to draw everyone's attention to the poster just under our Christmas countdown tree. An auction is being held, starting today, to help pay for Fiona's vet bills. Do stop by and bid!
