This is what #1 has been up to in Hampshire...

    How lovely - a sunny day and working horses. This is something Mum says she can't remember the last time she saw horses working in the fields. It is lovely to see the old traditions.

    Next time you come to North America, you should visit an area where Amish folks live. They still use horses to farm, and it's a beautiful sight. There's nothing more beautiful than big horses doing the jobs they were bred to do, is there?

    Great thundering hooves moving the earth beneath them, manes blowing in the wind, clouds of billowing soil being overturned ; such a powerful and awe inspiring image of days and traditions long gone by. Thank you for sharing these photos.Absolutely beautiful!
