Manly Monday and the Big Reveal!

Da Beebs: #1 has gone off to Luxembourg until Monday. We said it would be OK for her to go. We have been going to a regime change here, "regime" meaning diet in French... We have continued to have, ahem, output issues, and Dr. C decided we should go on all hypoallergenic food. We are trying to deal with it... Also, I have lost some weight and we are trying to figure out why.

Da Genj: Here I am, playing with our new Kickeroo.

Thank you, San and the Amigos in Singapore for our great gifts!

Vidock: I bet you have been missing my handsome face, right?

So.... I am the one who gets to break the big news! We will soon be welcoming a new member of the Poupounette Gang! Please meet Ollie:

Ollie is a black and white English Springer Spaniel. He was born on October 30th, 2018, and will be 12 weeks old when he joins us on January 20th. We hope you will welcome him warmly, and be friends with him! I plan to be! He will tell you all about himself next week. His arrival will mark our return to full-time blogging. Our Tommy will always live on in our hearts, and we hope he will guide our new youngster to become a very good dog, just like him.

We had mentioned earlier our intention to adopt a rescue dog, but had to change direction after we were told that we would need to put 6 foot high fencing all around our property. This we could not afford to do. And so came Ollie...

  2. What a sweet face Ollie has! How come it's required that you put up fencing if you want to adopt a rescue dog? That seems like a strange rule.

  4. Ollie looks gorgeous!
I cannot understand why some rescues put so many obstacles in the way when a good and loving home is offered to one of their dogs. A six foot high fence seems totally unnecessary.
