Wee Woofie Wednesday

#1 here. Now that you all know that we will be welcoming a new pup next Sunday, I wanted to share a few more photos from the day I met Ollie:

I am sure he will find his own voice pretty quickly, and will start to tell you about his big new adventure. Oh, and here is his Mum. Her name is Maya:

And his dad. He is called Jogger:

Our next post will probably be next Monday, when Ollie will have joined us.

Manly Monday and the Big Reveal!

Da Beebs: #1 has gone off to Luxembourg until Monday. We said it would be OK for her to go. We have been going to a regime change here, "regime" meaning diet in French... We have continued to have, ahem, output issues, and Dr. C decided we should go on all hypoallergenic food. We are trying to deal with it... Also, I have lost some weight and we are trying to figure out why.

Da Genj: Here I am, playing with our new Kickeroo.

Thank you, San and the Amigos in Singapore for our great gifts!

Vidock: I bet you have been missing my handsome face, right?

So.... I am the one who gets to break the big news! We will soon be welcoming a new member of the Poupounette Gang! Please meet Ollie:

Ollie is a black and white English Springer Spaniel. He was born on October 30th, 2018, and will be 12 weeks old when he joins us on January 20th. We hope you will welcome him warmly, and be friends with him! I plan to be! He will tell you all about himself next week. His arrival will mark our return to full-time blogging. Our Tommy will always live on in our hearts, and we hope he will guide our new youngster to become a very good dog, just like him.

We had mentioned earlier our intention to adopt a rescue dog, but had to change direction after we were told that we would need to put 6 foot high fencing all around our property. This we could not afford to do. And so came Ollie...

Some Snuggles on Sunday

#1 here. We are not back to full-time blogging yet, and we have of course lost or main snuggle buddy, but we wanted to share a couple of snuggle pics with you today. First off is Da Genj "helping" me as I sit at my computer:

And here is Da Beebs snuggled up to me under the covers:

And, saving the biggest for last, here I am snuggling with the Big V:

We will be posting tomorrow for Manly Monday, and then will take a couple of days off as #1 will be travelling.

Tama's Typhoon Warning on Thursday

Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends. We miss you and apologise for the intermittence of our posting. Here is a photo of me:

#1 has put away our Christmas stuff. We are already thinking of next Christmas and hoping that it will be a much happier one for us.

#1 is abandoning us next week to visit a friend in Luxembourg for a few days. She has been so very sad, so we have decided that it is a good thing for her to go, and Mr. G will be with us.

Are you wondering about the title? Well, things are not very clear at all but there is a wind blowing, Dear Friends, a strong wind... I am wondering if #1's photography skills are slipping, but I found this on her Mac:

Black spots on a white background. What could it possibly be?

I shall be working on elucidating this mystery and will let you know more as soon as I know more myself.

Sei-Chan's Souvenir Saturday

Sei-Chan: Oh Dear Friends, this is really hard. On the one paw, we know only too well how very sad #1 and the Gang at Poupounette Central are, but on the other... we have our beloved Tommy back among us and our own joy is endless. So, today, I thought I would share some photos of me, Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan with Tommy when we were little.

Here, for a start are Tommy and Sen-Chan when they were both tiny:

Here is Tommy with me when I was tiny:

And here I am with Tommy and Yuu-Chan!

And Tommy with his Auntie Madrac. She was so happy to see him too!

Trav never got to snuggle with Tommy but he knew that Tommy would not harm him when he was living in our garden. Now of course, they have become friends!

We will leave it at that for this week's post. We hope you enjoyed our pics with Tommy.

Thankful Thursday

#1 here. Today marks a week since we lost our Tommy, the soul of our family. It has been a difficult week for all of us, but we also have much to be thankful for.

The first thing we are thankful for is that our Tommy endured minimal suffering. I personally will always be thankful that I was actually here, and able to be with him during his last days and as he started on his final journey.

The second thing that we are thankful for is all of you and the love and support you have brought us. You have sustained us through a very dark time. Thank you.

The third thing we are thankful for is that into the giant void left by Tommy will step an abandoned dog whom someone else has thrown away like garbage. We do not know yet when this will happen, but happen it will.

And finally, I am thankful for my three Chans who have kept me focused and well-loved this past week.

Not many photos have been taken over the past week, but here are each of the Chans.

Da Beebs, looking very Beebsy...

We will be posting intermittently for a little while, until we are ready to face the world full on again. Our apologies also for not commenting much during this time.
